Can I mix Michelin tire types, each axle having the same type?
Due to the rather drastic handling differences between XGT-Z and MXX-3 Michelins, it is not recommended to run them in mixed sets. In high-G turns, you want your tires performing as predictably as possible, and these tires are NOT matched. They would reach their limits at different times, and temperatures, and I think it might even be downright SCARY, especially in the WET. Unless you are just tooling around town on DRY ROADs at highway speeds, with ZERO chance of rain.
