Your issue is the additional draw at idle from the added accessories. I found using the next size smaller alternator pulley fixes that.
You might need to downsize the belt a bit.
That was at the motor. It shows you how good those Gen 4 heads flowed, as they had to be stock to meet the A/stock Class.
The engines did have 12.5 to 1 compression and a long duration camshaft.
Just switching to E85 alone will not be worth it. You will need bigger injectors and a new tune, plus your range will be dramatically less.
Without much higher compression or forced induction, power gains will be small.
You should should expect about 50rwhp gain if the car has headers. You need to change the valve springs and
run the low bleed lifters or you will have issues. I suggest you upgrade the pushrods as well.
I have a calibration for that if needed, it requires a 180 or 170 thermostat.
The problem is with the ratchet assembly in the parking brake handle. If you remove the handle assembly you will see
a spring loaded dog that goes into the detent for the handle ratchet. That sticks. Clean it up and lubricate it,
then make sure it works.
