I currently have a 2000 RT/10 (w/23,500 miles), and I want to upgrade to a gen5. I have been trying to trade the car plus $60k-$65k cash, but I haven't had much luck. Am I too far off base?

I put new rims/tires on a few months ago, and they've only got about 500 miles on them . I've also replaced the head unit with a touchscreen (for the wireless android Auto), and added a new amp and replaced the speakers. Other than that, the car is stock. I replaced the rotors and calipers when I did the rims.

I have an 08 H/C coupe, GG heads, ported intake. Tuned by Havik making 675 RWHP. Wide body too. I might do $75K with your car. Gen 5, you will need to bring more to the table

Depends on which Gen 5 you're talking about. Some of the ones I have seen on BAT recently would put you in the right ballpark. It depends if the asking price is more important than less cash and a car to the seller.

Dealers are going to want $120k plus for most G5’s. They’ll only give you $30k real money on your trade

Sell your G2 for $40k, then find a private owner with a nice G5 for $100-$110k. Good luck!!
