Good afternoon, I picked up some BBS rims and would like to know what is the best tire size for them. I currently have the 17s.

I’ve been happy with the Continental Extreme Contacts. 335/30 and 275/35. Agree 285 would have been nice for the front, but the 275 is ok. I also did the reproduction center caps that are discussed on the facebook groups. They look great and the factory caps are safely stored. Let me know if you need help with those and I’ll find the details.

Nice option for the 285s. Either they weren’t available or I missed them a couple years ago when I got them.

Here’s the info on the center caps. I was pleasantly surprised when the center caps arrived from Amazon they were actually BBS branded.

Amazon

Has anyone gotten 345/35/18 tires in the rear? I’m waiting till the continental extreme contact force tires go into fabrication.

if youre not making significantly more power than stock, not sure why you'd want so much larger tires? 335/45 is a drastic difference.

Are they 18x10 and 13, or are the fronts wider? I agree that wider front tires are better from a dry grip perspective. Wet performance will be better with the 275/285.

Don't just check the width - you need to check the height of various sizes. Standard G1/2 Vipers run 25.6" tall F/R. Some tires will be 27"+. Taller rears will affect your speedometer. Staggered diameters can give you issues with ABS calibration.

345/35/18.

Not 335/45/18

I’m looking to get a little less stretch and a bit more sidewall.

Yes, 18x10 and 18x13.

I ended up ordering
Continental Extreme Contact Sport
Rear: 335/30ZR18
Front: 285/35R18
