I ordered a Wavetrac. It's currently on back order. Supposedly, its being shipped mid January.

Venamous 54 - Mine has been on backorder since April. lol. I was told mid January (Wavetrac has been updating/changing shipping dates every 2 months since April).
99RT10GTS - I have a donor rear end for the Wavetrac, just been twiddling my thumbs and waiting on Wavetrac. I was hoping someone would have a built rearend with a Wavetrac installed, or a Wavetrac they would part with.

From what I can gather, they do very limited runs of Viper Wavetracs along with their unique stubs...something on the order of once a year or so based on anecdotal evidence.

Just be aware that their lifetime warranty, while nice, also relies on these limited production runs.

Bottom line: if you break something (and I've seen a couple folks that have broken the Wavetrac stubs), your car will be down while you wait on their next production run. The aftermarket doesn't give two ***** about limited production vehicles, and the Viper certainly falls in that category.

I've never personally run a Wavetrac, and I know a lot of people swear by them, but I'd seriously consider a Gen 4 or Gen 5 take-out as a backup. The OEM GKN Visco-Lok in the 2008-2017 cars is pretty durable in my experience, and it works pretty well. There's also quite a few out there, but you'll have to do some digging these days to find one.
