Hi guys,

Need advices to upgrade my rear brakes on my GTS FE 2002 I drive in France and some trackdays too
I have already for the front, Gen3 front calipers with IPSCO brackets + Girodisc rotors
BC Racing coilovers, BBS Comp coupe wheels + Nankang AR1, ROE Racing perf clutch.

actually still OEM for the back and want to upgrade it and several questions in mind.
- Possibility with IPSCO brackets to install Gen2 front caliper on the back, then with this mount : Do I still have the parking brake in place with this option ? What rotors need this mount : Original rear Gen2 or need to put front Gen2 ?
- Possibility with IPSCO bracket to install Gen3 rear caliper on the back, then same questions. with this mount : Do I still have the parking brake in place with this option ? What rotors need this option : Original rear Gen2 or need to put rear Gen3 ?
I will be in U.S (Charlotte NC) from Jan 29th for 3 days and want to take the opportunity to buy those parts.

Thanks for your advices

Didn't you post on the alley and got some answers there?

You will not have a parking brake period as the parking brake is built into the OEM single piston cailper that you are removing. You need to go with aftermarket one and IPSCO stop making the parking brake kit.

Okido thanks for the answer. Is there a solution on the market to keep the parking brake and combined brakes upgrade ? I do not want to remove it for several reasons and the first one is to keep the car road legal as every 2 years in France you have to present the car for a security check and parking brake is part of the points you need.

I have Giro GEN2 front rotors and brembo parking brake. Easy swap. If you want to go BIG, you can get rear brackets & move current front to rear and go Brembo 6 piston on the front. Parking brake becomes a little issue.
Message me if you have questions.
