drive by wire. how does it work?

Toyota has announced a huge recall due to throttle sticking wide open and causing many accidents, some fatal. They deny it's due to the "wire", but the government stated it may be in the computer (ECM), itself. Check with your dealer for details. This was just on Good Morning America, Tuesday...

    Fuel pump fuse/relay location?

My 06 has been sitting for a few months and I want to disable the fuel pump to get oil pressure prior to start up. My software at my shop does not show the location of either, so I hope someone has a shop manual. Thanks, John

Is getting a Viper for me a really good idea?

Just like a motorcycle--as long as you're "afraid" of it, you'll be safe. Once you think you can ride or drive like a pro, it's time to sell.

PartsRack Nurburgring Decals - Need you input!

I'm pretty sure any decal on paint will discolor the paint. My .02, put one on each side of the rear glass at the bottom.

Ok what’s the deal with parts?

Barry, stop fretting over something so simple! Get your car and have an independent shop repair the hose or ask the dealer to do it. If the rebuilt/repaired hose fails, the freon suspends some of the lubricating oil for the compressor as well as the freon/134a which will be disabled by the...

Ok what’s the deal with parts?

AC hoses are rebuildable with no adverse affect. Cheap and quick. John Ask the service manager if it's permissable and will the warranty on this part be as if it was a new unit. It should be fine repaired this way. John

    inapropriate to contact previous owner?

Found my 70 Boss 302 that I bought new in 69 and spoke to the fella who's restoring it in Michigan. He was glad I called him to give him some history of the car, unfortunately have no pictures of it when new. Also called the first owner of my gen 1 and he too was glad to tell of the history of...

    ATTENTION ALL Viper Owners: PLEASE...

Along a similar line, as was posted a while back, hide your keys at home to prevent a thief gaining entry to your home and taking the viper as well. Once in the garage, a simple push of a button and it's gone!
