Yea if you are in that area you might as well check them. I found that 4 of the 9 TCC bolts were not tight. Drove the car for about 40 miles with no leaks. Looks like I got lucky on this one! I drove it around town with the hood off! I thought I got a lot of looks but damn with this hood...
I am running the Zt-2 Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Meter and Datalogging System. It is a wideband and I welded in the wideband close to the O2 sensor in the collector right before it goes to the side sills.
Zeitronix : Wideband Engine Datalogging Systems and Accessories
I installed the Zeitronix datalogger system in my car last week. Have not had much time to play with it but did make one 3rd gear pull to log. I hear that it is best to have the AFR in between 11.5-12.0. Now is this when you are at full throttle/boost? This is what my logger system showed at...
ha Well I can tell you I'm learning a lot about working on Vipers! Maybe one day I will be like you and be rebuilding 20 vipers at one time!! :rolaugh:
Looks like good news. My timing cover gasket was leaking but I found that the bolts were not tight! I tighten them down and so far no leaks! We will see if this stays this way.
Man i really wish I could make this!! I am closing on a new house on the 30th and my damn car is leaking oil/coolant!!! Looks like it might be the timing cover gasket! How about you come over to TN for a weekend and fix this for me?
Ok I filled it back up and took it for a short drive. When I got back it was still leaking. There is a lot of oil under the alternator. I noticed that the pressure hose goes around that area. I am thinking that is where my problem is. What do you guys think? There is no oil on the drivers...
Ok I checked the power steering fluid and it does look low. The cap was tight as could be. I just do not know why it would have a lot of fluid below the alternator...
Well just installed a new split second box and datalogging system to my 2002 RT/10. Drove it the last few days without a problem. Just got done driving it and pulled it into the garage. Backed it out to wash it and saw a puddle of what looks to be oil. This is not engine oil as it is to...
There's not much info on this site about Zeitronix but I was pointed in their direction from a viper tech that I trust 110%. Looking forward to playing around with it once it is installed. Once I get everything installed I will post a thread about this system.
Hey guys, installing my Zeitronix Zt-2 wideband AFR meter and datalogging system and have a few questions about where I can tap these wires into to get signals that I need. I know most of these wires that I need go into the PCM. Can I tap them there? These are the signals that I need...
I'm just hoping to get in the 10s. Heck I would be happy if I got 10.99. I also do not know if I will need a roll bar or not. I checked their website but does not say anything about it. So I will find out at the track and then if it's under 11.5 then I will go 12's for practice then on my...
Oh wow! Just wait Tony. Bristol is only a few miles away from me so I am hoping to get lots of practice! Then I will not need matt to get me a good time! :lmao:
