    Just wanted to know how often everyone changes their oil if their car isn't driven that much? I got my Viper last February and have only changed the oil once (when I first got it at 11K miles). Now it's almost a year later, and have put on 4K miles since then without changing the oil...

    Want to add HP to my 01 GTS cream puff!

    Not an expert on this by any means, but if the OP is looking for more of a "seat in the pants" experience vs, actual HP increase, then a gear change (either 3.55's or 3.73's) may be one of the first things to do? I did the 3.55's and it got me that "oomph" that I was looking for...:smirk:

    Thanks for the link, but Wallymart is actually cheaper (even with our extreme Arizona 9.9% sales tax). Only $6.47/qt for the M1 0W40 and just stocked up... :2tu:

    Eddie Martin (Viper tech at Bill Luke Dodge) uses M1 0W40 on my oil changes, but also said that in normal (i.e., non-racing) conditions, either 5W30 or 10W30 is fine in AZ (as long as you're in the valley, which you are). Problem is that no one seems to carry the 5 qt jugs of M1 0W40, so...

    2012 GT-R: 0-60 in 2.9 sec. 2010 ACR: 0-60 in 3.3 sec. 3.3 - 2.9 = 0.4 sec difference just to equalize the GTR. Can/will it happen? Who knows....

    I've got a guy over here in Phoenix that is restoring a salvaged '00....so he's interested in pretty much everything. It probably got rear ended by driving too slowly. It's red. :poke:
