    onerare, Well on the street without the slicks first and second gear anything close to half throttle and there go the tires. Other than that the power is greatthe car gets to 170 mph much faster now. And yes I changed my profile thanks can't beleive I forgot to do that.

    Pauls, Yes mustang and vettes have a shorter gear but with the gearing in the trranny the finally drive in 4th still ends up being 1 to 1 which is what you are looking for on a dyno the 1 to 1 pull.

    Re: I\'m whinning Did you break the rear in? The bearings have a preload and the car needs to be driven for a short period of time at low speed not exceeding say 60 at least twice letting the rear cool down in between. Whining is generally a sign of the lash being to tight. Good luck.

    Ok I found that I don't need to use any shims, has anyone ever experienced this I made an asjustable pushrod checker and found the correct height to be 7.709 so I ordered a set of 7.700. I hope this all works out well the tip ran across the top of the valve never nearing the edge.

    I spoke with Becky before I posted my request yesterday and she had no problem and this mornig I spoke with Sean after I got the e-mail from Dave saying he would swap and again Sean had no problem. After all would he really care as long as the two parties trading places agree.
