You guys can contact me anytime about the setup and I will let you know how its holding up. I dont expect any issues, but then again no one ever does. I will give you pretty good real world results as I dont drive the car like Ms. Daisy.
Sure its doable!!! I would contact Roe racing see what Sean has to say about it. Just get some information and do your do diligance and by the time your ready to make the move you will have enough knowledge to make your decision on who and what to go with.
As far as the looks. Yeah there isnt...
Any turbo setup you look this is basically all you see, just a couple of pipes and blow off valves. Some different colors or chromed or polished. Its all personal preference. Im enjoying the performance of the turbos though, over the previous SC cars I have had.
I have been in several TT cars and i dont know if its where the turbos are mounted but the sound is so much different the intense sound of the thrushing air is incredible from the outside of the car as well as the inside.
Just mounted my Nittos today. Not happy at all with the lateral stability. The straight line acceleration is awesome they friggin hook!! If anyone has ever driven a car with full blown slicks then you will know what Im saying when it feels like your in a boat when the back end wiggles around and...
Yes the stock clutch is holding up so far I did a few standing launches these Nittos really stick and the clucth held up. I am actually surprised about this. I put about 200 miles on the car today mostly spirited driving and then a little steady cruising. All went well and I am extremely happy...
Well seeing paxton runs 8 psi on there basic kit I would say that 7.5 is no problem and as we know turbos are less demanding on the motor than a supercharger. But what it really comes down to is the calibration on the fuel and timing. Well keep checking with me and ill give you all the feed back...
Well the car was delivered this morning just before I has to leave for work. So it came off the truck and into the garage and off to work I......... Well not so fast I am just going to have to be late today. Time to take it for a test drive.
So when the car was dropped off the driver explained...
That is correct to the fact its the only additional charge to the TT setup. But this is also where the motor gets built. So thats why I say stage one with the controller. Ketchup or Catsup?? LOL.... Now if I had the motor built by Sean it would be and official stage two.
Or you can say i did the stage one kit and just added the controller. I plan on building the motor at the end of this season, so I wanted the controller there and ready to go.
Sean just finished my 06 and on 6 psi it made 658 rwhp and 675 rwtq SAE corrected. The only other mods to the car are B&B exhaust with high flow cats and 3:55 gears.
At 7.5 psi it made 720 rwhp and 738 rwtq SAE corrected. There is a boost controller installed I will be saving the 7.5 psi for...
This is it right here. I think this is what the problem is when people ask about surging or bucking. My GTS was this way and the SRT is the same way, less than ten mph and you will get this especially if for some reason your on rough pavement and your foot quickly comes off the pedal then back...
I couldnt due to lack of room, but the body shop painted it nice and cleared the underside of the hood so it looks good when its open. Its just one more place you have to clean when washing your car though.
