A reason alot of 08's are appearing now with under 100 miles but used is that Dodge was selling to actual Chrysler employees vipers at 20K off of invoice which would get you into the high 50's low 60's. The only stipulation was the employee had to title the car and keep it for 6 months before...
I would have to say Mark that seems like a pretty good price for sure. Don't know if I would fork over the grub for it but non the less pretty reasonable.
Mark,
The expense that one would incur by doing this would be well in the 20 or 30k dollar range by my guess. Again considering for well under 10K we could have over 600 BHP on a Gen III with headers, exhaust, tune and a good set of heads. Is that extra expense for a warranty necessary? Not...
I have to agree I mean with just headers, exhuast and a good tune we are seeing damn close to 600 BHP. Now throw a set of heads on we are well over 600 BHP for about 7000.00 and with those minor mods do we really need a warranty, I would feel comfortable doing that to my car with no warranty...
Thanks Robzilla. So what is the problem with leaving the engine in? Do you know if the rack has to be removed... that seems like it would be the only kind of pain in the azz thing to remove... other than that just the radiator and cooler. Can you wxpand on why you say its easier to remove the...
Without having the repair manual on hand, does anyone know if the engine has to be removed to do a cam swap? If not does the cam clear the steering rack? It appears all I have to do is remove the radiator and tranny cooler, and it should clear the block, but I may be wrong just thought I would...
The best thing to do is contact Hiss and get the damage apraisal report to find out what needs to be replaced, this way one can make an educated bid on the car.
How did Gary only get 185 and Mark hit 193? I really am more concerned with top speed in 4th gear, real world not calculator. I would like to see 132 to 134 with the 373. Can you test one more time Mark? If you get caught tell them your weren't doing IT again, it was just a 4th gear roll on this...
FOR 2750.00!!!! AND THERE IS NO DRIVER SIDE SWING OUT BAR???? The last roll bar I had made for my car cost me 600.00 installed with a side swing out bar. I know the price of steel has gone up in the past 4 years but WOW. It looks nice but WOW. Thats pricey.
What a piece of work! Should everyone that dupilicates a question or a comment be slammed with a comment like this? Do you want a pat on the back because you had a thread on this subject. Grow up already.
Once again so many Viper owners don't live in reality. The only people here saying that there Viper beat a ZO6 are those that have an 08. Hmm.. maybe the fact that there is another 100 horsepower give or take a few. Hands down comparing apples to apples an 06 ZO6 will beat an 06 Viper all day...
Leases are becoming none existent from all the major 3. Due to them putting the insurance companies out of business that use to insure the leases. It was a big scheme by the manufactueres. They never lost a penny on the cars because if the value of the car was less then what was owed to the...
Nice 60' time, with your 1/8th mile time your were on your way to an 11.7-11.8 pass. Did ya let of the gas early perhaps or hit the rev limiter at all? Your 1/8th mile is really respectable. Doesn't look like a power issue at all to me.
In my opinion the coupe looks much more aggressive. A rear spoilier for the vert makes a nice difference, without something back there it looks much like a Chrysler Concord.
Thanks. I think the American Racing headers make great power and the fit and finish was very nice, no need to jack engine up as some other brands. Also price is very nice compared to others.
Unfortunately my friend bought a new dyno from the frist time I dynoed the car and the new dyno has new software which is not compatiable with the old. I don't know if I have the original pull on paper at home but I will look. From what I recall I compared my dyno pull to many other Gen 3s and...
