    Mark, The expense that one would incur by doing this would be well in the 20 or 30k dollar range by my guess. Again considering for well under 10K we could have over 600 BHP on a Gen III with headers, exhaust, tune and a good set of heads. Is that extra expense for a warranty necessary? Not...

    I have to agree I mean with just headers, exhuast and a good tune we are seeing damn close to 600 BHP. Now throw a set of heads on we are well over 600 BHP for about 7000.00 and with those minor mods do we really need a warranty, I would feel comfortable doing that to my car with no warranty...

    Your definetely correct. Same as 06 they start narrow in the front and get wider towards the rear. Sorry I don't have an 09 to measure for you though.

    Without having the repair manual on hand, does anyone know if the engine has to be removed to do a cam swap? If not does the cam clear the steering rack? It appears all I have to do is remove the radiator and tranny cooler, and it should clear the block, but I may be wrong just thought I would...

    Once again so many Viper owners don't live in reality. The only people here saying that there Viper beat a ZO6 are those that have an 08.     Nice 60' time, with your 1/8th mile time your were on your way to an 11.7-11.8 pass. Did ya let of the gas early perhaps or hit the rev limiter at all? Your 1/8th mile is really respectable. Doesn't look like a power issue at all to me.

    Coupe vs. Vert

    In my opinion the coupe looks much more aggressive. A rear spoilier for the vert makes a nice difference, without something back there it looks much like a Chrysler Concord.

    Thanks. I think the American Racing headers make great power and the fit and finish was very nice, no need to jack engine up as some other brands. Also price is very nice compared to others.
