I owned an 09 ZR and it only came with a manual. I think even the later model ZR1's only come with a manual.
My wife's SL550, I know it's not really a sports car, has paddle shifters. That's great and I've tried it; but if I was interested in straight line speed with her car it would be...
I do the same thing. And one thing my wife said the other day, she has always been surprised is the Viper is admired by all ages and genders.
Doesn't hurt to do like you do and light a kid up by letting them sit in your car.
Glad it worked out in the end.
One question though: When my wife's MB SL550 is in they give us a suitable Mercedes, not an SL; but a suitable car. They even offered a loaner the other day when we were just leaving it for a car wash.
When you drive the most expensive car that SRT makes...
I've been followed before to the extent I didn't continue going home and took another route until the guy stopped following me. Just didn't want someone to follow me all the way home.
I did have someone start following me when I hit our neighborhood. He was driving a ratty old looking pickup...
As far as test drives? I had never ridden in a Viper when I bought my 08 ACR, didn't need to. Depended a lot on the Viper reputation. And I've never been disappointed since.
But, then again I didn't need to drive most of the five Vettes I had owned. They did let me drive the 09 ZR1 before...
First statement above about another club being planned that long is interesting.
Regarding the problematic Walmart employee - just so no one thinks that is me since I have a Bentonville address - I live ten minutes from the Walmart home office; but don't have anything to do with Walmart...
Price doesn't deter me if it's a car I like. Having said that, the Gen V is getting into territory pricewise where there are other choices. I get get a Mercedes SLS AMG GT for about $50k more than a fully loaded Viper. I'm not saying they compare, I'm just saying the increased price is...
I've had people at work call mine the Batmobile. I don't care for that term; but then again if you are going to drive a car as rare as ours people will think what they want to. If you like the SSG I say buy it. I think they look sharp.
I have an 08 ACR. I have owned the car since new, five years. Never had a problem with cabin heat except when I had a minor leak in the condenser. This summer I noticed the AC will literally freeze you out if you have it higher than a couple of clicks on the fan.
Had had three minor...
I had the same problem with my 08. I tried the adjustment procedure several times and that didn't work. I finally had the dealer replace the window regulator and it fixed the problem.

I agree on the 5-spd trans. I rarely use 6th gear and only above 80. The new vetoes have 7-sods; but who cares, doesn't mean anything unless you care about mpg which I don't in these cars. When I care about mpg I drive my Abarth.
Anyone know who has signature authority over the bank account. It should be two signatures as we all know; but who besides Dan can sign checks? Any know that.
Dan - or whoever, can we see the latest bank statement?
