Hi,
Gotta ask the question. Was there a dedicated specific VOI12 poster like there has been at all of the other VOI's? I know that we got the poster of the GenV car. Was that it?
In my experience it depends upon the VOI. At VOI 9 (Vegas) The layout and the amount of cars per group allowed you to drive at your comfort level. Fast if you wanted to go fast, go fast or slower if you wanted to go slower.
VOI 10 was follow the leader, not much performance time. VOI 11 was a...
I just received an email link to Autoweek's first drive of the new Gen V. Oddly enough it took place at Gingerman where the posted GenV pics were taken.
Overall the review was good but it seems it was track time only. Go to Autoweeks website to read it if you don't get their daily new letter...
The "Clear Bra" (Don't know this exact product as it was on my car when I got it) is starting to yellow somewhat.
What is the current "standard" out there in terms of clarity, gloss and longevity?
thanks
Actually this is not the first crash. Kendall crashed at Road America a week or so ago taking a good part of the right side of the car off.... Come to think of it, I believe that nary a week has gone by wothout some sort of body damage.
The black rotors were on the 2003 vipers. I have yet to see black rotors on a gen 4 (they are red)
The other thing is that Viper Parts of America is selling new complete sets of gen 3/4 one piece rotors like yours for 299.00
Just thought you should know.
Does anyone know exactly what the tire make, size and compound of the ALMS tires the new GTS-R's are running?
What are the ACRX's running?
Thanks
Steve A.
The end links from dodge south require the tapered holes in the sway bar to be drilled out. Once you do that, you wont be able to go back to the stock ones as they need a tapered hole to work.
The adjustable ones from SnakeOyl still retain the tapered ends that go through the bar, and are just...
When you seperate the pump from the resevoir there is an o-ring that connects the two together get that O-ring also. I am on my 3 rd pump and each change I just replaced the o-ring on the tube fittings...
Actually the first generation of comp coupes came with larger solid bars than the Gen 4 does now. Its pretty amazing I think, how heavy each bar is, but they sure work... They also came with adjustable end links to help chassis set up.
I had some large black plastic bags (I think they were 65 gallon ones that I had laying around for a while). I put the itres in them, put the nozzle of my vacuum into it and sucked the air out of the bag. Before I removed the nozzle I warmed the the end of the bag with my wifes hair dryer to...
On a Gen 3 the Sirius antenna is located UNDER the factory plastic bulkhead on top of the factory steel bulkhead on the passenger side. I discovered that while helping a friend install a rollbar. The GPS antenna's are located under the dash on or near the top of the nav radio.
I actually bought 2 spare pairs of rears myself. Seeing the fronts are the same size and are used on a few other cars still in production, I will buy fronts as needed. I vacuum bagged my rears and put them in the corner of the basement so they will be ready when I need them.
