Speaking of harware, is their any plan to catalog the fastener availabilty that VPA acquired? Last time I looked at the VPA site(10mins ago) I thin I saw less than a half dozen fasteners listed. There are alot of unique fasteners in the car...
There are quite a few Vipers being auctioned off by MECUM in Kissimmee, Fl this weekend. I quickly went through the list and this is what I came up with:
THURSDAY:
Lot-T90 ’01 GTS Hennessey package
Lot-T171 ’06 Copperhead
Lot-T273- ’04 White Mamba
FRIDAY:
Lot-J9 ’94 RT with a butt ugly...
looking the engine bay in the auction photos, it really is a pig sty even by daily driver standards. In his description he says he takes better care of the car than himself. I would really hate to see what the hell he looks like..
These were actually made from perforated vinyl that was printed over so that the headlight were actually somewhat functional at night. I can remember when they were being prototyped, it was a pain the get the eyes in the right spot so it looked good when they were applied.
I contacted one of Howie's associates late this aft. Howie is up to his eyeballs with other business ventures right now and dosen't have the time to get that project rolling now.
Sorry for the bummer news.

I dont know about the rest of you, but I was just watching the commercial filled "auction" and they spent several minutes on 2 very gaudy '98 vettes. On deck was the 92 Viper I hoping to see. Well, they went to commmercial again so we'll not see the bidding on that car.....
I have been...
The angle of the photogragh makes it look a ton worse than it really is... If you are standing next to the car, you wont see 99% of it. No if you drop a coin and bend over that is something totally different.
You will LOVE that kit when you get it. It makes trackside adjustments a breeze. I ended up buying a nurse tank (40 cu ft) that I keep at home to refill the small tank that comes with the kit.
I wont be so quick to say that new rotors are needed. New pads? definitely IMHO. The location of the groove is far below the "main" brake pad contact area of the rotor. Additionally its been my experience that the grooves/ slots that are machined into the rotors, only extend to the minimum...
