No worries, it says all original parts included. It's the right color, has stripes, 10K miles, original parts with the mods you wanted, and cheap price.
Try to run your car through a dealer as a trade in. Most states do not require you to pay sales tax on the trade in value of the car. Could save you over $3,000 on the new car. Did you find a car?
Here's another one for you....

I'll answer all the questions that are not opinions....
#1, Blue with white stripes 1996 and 1997 (About 2,128 made) or Red with White Stripes 2002 (360 made all Final Editions) Those are the 3 years for your color choices.
#2, Buy This book..... Viper Buyers Guide...
It's hard to keep up..... So are you keeping the Vette or selling it?

"Unfortunately I just lost the deal I had with a buyer on my vette to which kinda screws me up a little, not financially but I do need the spot in my garage. I hate to pay for...
Would still like to know if you bought your car new. One of my 1998's I bought new was a higher VIN and a later build month. ... it came with the old style fan. I dought they went back to using the old fans.
The VCA is setting this up with Dodge as we speak. Best to make sure you are a VCA member as I see this being another "advantage" of being amember. You can also track down the original selling dealer and ask them if they can do it for you.
Yep, they right over the clear coat. LASER staight with real lasers to line them up. Ask someone with factory stripes if you can feel the edge and you will see. BTW, all factory cars with stripes carry a special paint code for the stripe color. They have the base color code, clear coat code...
FYI, most '02 Final Edition's came with a 7 year factory warranty. That covered motor and drive line, but you might be able to extend that to everything for not much more. Just a thought.... and I'm not sure the new warranty would even cover previous damaged parts.
I bet you're looking at the tach and thinking the first mark is 0. The very first line on a viper tach is 500 rpm. Take a close look at it. I don't think it would stay running very long under 500 rpms. Just a guess though.
I would try and find out if your tach is correct and is it really idling at 650.
That should be your first step. After that, if it is 650... try and find out why it's there. I do not know the exact number, but I think it should be closer to 750.
