Re: Paxton owners - GET RID OF YOUR FMU & SPLIT SECOND SETUP AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSI
Guys... READ post #20 before you start jumping on the "I'm just gonna drop in a pump" bandwagon.
Yes we do, though you may be incorrect as "how" we sell them. The Window/Mirror/Lock package is separate from everything else, as is the RB1/RBQ/MyGig radio package. Those two package types are installed items, not just LED's for end user installation. The Window/Mirror/Lock are PCB or SMD...
Anything can be done with enough money, but its not quite that simple. All systems with regard to Drive By Wire are redundant, and they are not identical. Each actuator has multiple sensors, and the curves must match EXACTLY or they are flagged as errors. These systems are specifically designed...
We offer a very nice torquey cam for all around excellent power with no loss on low end drivability or tuning ability. Incredible sound.
When combined with a Gen-4 Conversion or heads/manifold flowing silimar numbers [w/Intake/Exhaust of course], it will make around 700 crank horsepower...
Yes, the Viper is an interference engine.
For what its worth, you need to have this engine disassembled and inspected by someone who knows EXACTLY what they are looking at. It sounds like your camshaft is out of time. They do not skip teeth- they break dowels. The question is, WHY did it do...
Another vote here for GiroDisc as well- even have a set on my own car. Have sold many sets of them over the years, never a complaint. StopTech & Brembo are great as well, though personally I think the GiroDisc looks better.
All I am going to say is that there is no way that 20K is going to make both a good production kit of acceptable quality for this market, solve the drivetrain issues at that power level, AND solve the fuel/engine management issues... let alone have enough profit to make a good business case for...
What he said is worth a check as well. Belanger is notorious for this, as some cars push the O2 wiring out into the side sill too far, and end up damaging the back side of the sensor/wiring, starting the chain of events. Shorter sensors, wiring re-route, or moving the insulation around usually...
Hi Gary,
Unfortunately what you are asking for is kind of a "few and far between" in this type of market. Most of these owners would opt to leave the interior uncluttered than to start adding gauges, which is no one has answered which has any info or experience. Generally, the kind of customer...
Yep. Holidays have been a major pain in the ass, but 3D modeling and board design of the new controller are well underway, and the impossible-to-get SMD components are now in hand. I will be posting a teaser once the first prototype is in hand.
Hmmm... that's a tough call. I would lean towards white gauges with everything else blue to match the offsets of the blue/silver.
FYI, we will be able do core exchange on Windows/Locks/Mirror adjusters in a few days- just waiting for a few extras to arrive.
Hello, unfortunately I do not. There is a noticeable difference to the eye, but the camera just does not seem to be able to capture the difference between them- I gave up a long time ago trying to get a good difference photo.
Re: Paxton owners - GET RID OF YOUR FMU & SPLIT SECOND SETUP AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSI
At that level I would run a combination internal/external on demand setup.
Ah, got ya- didn't go back and see that. Yeah, that comment pre-dated the commemoratives. I recall because shortly after this thread, I was like... WTF!
Re: Paxton owners - GET RID OF YOUR FMU & SPLIT SECOND SETUP AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSI
Get the Pro-Racer package, and nope, you don't :)
Also, regardless, when a car is properly tuned, it should be a set-it-and-forget-it operation. Doesn't apply to everyone, but most people who aren't at least...
Re: Paxton owners - GET RID OF YOUR FMU & SPLIT SECOND SETUP AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSI
Drive one done correctly... and it will be off the car faster than you can re-type that sentence. Smoother, more capability, and far and above more reliable. The only reason that the VEC-2's are remotely...
