2006 Viper Mechanic needed in Miami or Broward. Any recommendations?

I have dealt with the Arrigo techs on a few occasions, and I would say they are more competent than most dealer techs based on my conversations. Eustis is fairly far. Up north of Orlando.

Viper Mechanic Needed - Port Charlotte/Venice/Englewood, Florida

The good news: I am located in Cape Coral right now. New shop being built in Placida. Bad News: Nowhere near done yet. LOL. I am not exactly a dealer tech however, but I do fill my extra time with basic stuff.

    2000 IAC Gasket part number?

While this in no way would meet our minimum order... we stock all of the gaskets for Gen-1/2 cars, and not that OE paper junk either.

    CAR will not start

If fuel pump primes and does not stop after a couple seconds after key-on, you have a PCM failure.

    Need ECM

Worlds fastest way to end up with an invalid core and cost yourself an extra $500. I get destroyed cores from those minimum wage morons on a daily basis, complete with broken cases, acid-damaged electronics and screwdriver pry marks right across the board because they dont have the first clue...

Buying a Gen 3 that needs these things - Advice

Not sure if this was a reference to us or not... but you get what you pay for regardless. RSI's total line cost doesn't even reach the parts content cost of our standard lines, let alone quick connect versions.

    Oil Pan Gasket 1997 GTS

In stock... its our part after all. LOL Not sure what you mean by "windage gasket" though... but we do have Gen-2 lower gasket kits in stock.

AC not cold enough for FL

Make sure you compare apples to apples. Gen-4 uses a much smaller fan assembly than Gen-3 on the horsepower spectrum, you cant readily compare the two in terms of AC performance in super hot climates.

Looking for a very well kept Viper Mamba

A little late, but a customer named Tom has a 2004 Black Mamba with a VS-X700 package installed for sale in Long Island. This car is an absolute stunner that drives like a factory car. Its show-car and show-room level, not some cobbled together package by Joe Schmoe's Garage.

    Power steering issues

There is more going on here. Depending on the original failure, you may have a power steering system that was filled up with metal, and EVERYTHING is damaged now. There is no filter, and nobody ever flushes the systems correctly, leading to continuing damage and constant repeat failures. May...

2006 with 17K miles won't go into reverse

No. The problem will just re-occur. We change the entire setup around to combat this. Downstream O2 sims are the easiest solution in your case if you dont have OBD2 inspections in your area.

    Power steering issues

My money is on there being something wrong with the fitting assembly from JTSVP. When changes create failures, look at the changes.

2006 with 17K miles won't go into reverse

Rear O2 wiring is damaged, very common on Gen-3 Belanger setups due to the sensor placement. Lockout and skipshift are powered off the same circuit.

Starter turning over but won't start.

This screams fried PCM if the fuel pump is not cycling. Jump starting, jump boxes, and old battery chargers are the #1 cause of fried PCM's, especially on Gen-1/2 applications. If you need additional assistance, just shoot me an e-mail. [email protected]

Gen III to Gen IV Engine Build

Thank you again Tom, it is still one of my favorite builds to date! This kind of a result is what we go for. It is not just about how much power a build makes or how it looks; it is about the whole package. If it doesn't drive well, have bulletproof reliability, and require virtually no...

What you guys think 2004 vs 2009 srt10?

Not so much. Fewer camshaft & control options, still a pain when it comes to Drive By Wire on a VENOM controller, etc. Definitely a lot better than it was, but still not quite as easy.

What you guys think 2004 vs 2009 srt10?

This will answer it best: Planning to stay stock? Buy the Gen-4. Planning to have Mod Fever? Buy the Gen-3. For ~20K, you can turn a Gen-3 into a 725HP Gen-4 look-alike that also has a Gen-4 transmission and rear end. Best of all worlds- more power, no mod hassles, sounds better, and same...

I would be amazed if that product actually worked properly beyond scanning/activation of the sensor... programming the car, is another story. SCT tuner or upgraded PCM

To answer your question: Technically, you have the same capabilities, and can end up with the same file via Direct Fash or via SCT. However, the choice depends on the application more than anything. If you are looking for basic changes, are going to tune the vehicle once, or are building a...

    Power steering troubles

There is no special tool for the fitting removal. The tool that I suspect Viper X is referring to is the Oil Cooler Line disconnect tool, which wont help you here. The PS lines are blind-lock type, and require machining to remove without chancing any damage to the line itself or the original...
