    Yes, I'll speak to my dealer about it, as long as it doesn't cause more delays, by november we get the snow and the season is over. If I have to switch to a 2014, I'll add the SRT hood and Aero pack though.

    Just called SRT and all they can say is my build has not started yet, and I'm still sitting at D1. By ordering back in Dec, I tought I'd be the first kid in town with a Gen V. So much for that, a local dealer has a red GTS sitting in the showroom. Is WHITE such a special color ?????

    Gen V Test Drive - Just Curious

    Exactly what I did before buying my 08. Took a 6 hours drive to Englishtown NJ and paid 2 x $500 for me and my son. We had a great day testing all the SRT products and a few weeks later I purchased my first new Viper.

    Thanks for the kind words, but can you see where mine stands in the line ? As a Canadian I do not have access to the VOTS info and customer service is clueless so far as any dates. DV400496 is the one for me.

    Question about srt viper sales

    Good ! They can strart the process with DV400496. Ordered mid-decembre (first day that canadian orders were open) and even when I call customer service, all they say is they have no info on the build.

    Great info Jack B, but for max speed in gears, shouldn't we get it at the Gen V redline of 6400 rpm ? Per Drivesrt : Max power 640 hp at 6200 rpm and fuel cut off at 6400 rpm
