The viper registry has the most accurate data on vins Yes, correct. With the other date being 8/13 it is weird, all of the ones I've seen are the same month between the 2 dates. Its definitely a late build, usually production stops july, plant switch overs happen in August, new model year...- BadAzp

There should be a decal on the drivers door similar to this. In the lower left corner is a MDH, thats the month day hour (24hr clock) when the car was built. That is the ONLY way to know exactly when the car was built. If that decal is gone, it is gone forever. You can only get one made with...- BadAzp

Running without solenoid is no big deal, your not going to "accidentally" shift into reverse. Its too far over and the speed of the synchros wont let you anyway- BadAzp

I have the sparks qc, i dont think they ever made a RC YF. I also have both pages of that brochure that i had printed on posterboard at cvs. Would like to find the actual brochure. i have a YF remote control truck but its kinda riced up with decals, new in box.
