Still may be your problem if voltage fluctuates at WOT.. Leave it WOT for a bit to see if voltage changes. May want to use analog meter and not digital..
75% may be right, you have to read your voltage. I thought you stated that you scanned your DD (Daily Driver) above. I have a 96 GTS and a manual, I can try looking up what the voltage should be at WOT.

If it were me, I would go for it. You remove allot of the risk with what you just said. My car was driven less than 2000 miles in 10 years and the car is perfect!
The hood concerns me since its one of the most expensive part on these cars.. look it over REAL good and proceed with caution... What does a car fax say? Other than that, look at the usual trouble areas....
