trouble mounting chrome finder grills from the viper store (help)
I wouldn't drill anything to install those.. Do the Viper community a favor and send them back... You want to cover up one of the coolest features of the car. Sorry for being honest.....- daveg

Per Revheats Doc, The first production GTS rolled off the assembly line on May 6, 1996. It took a total of 5 days to build the GTS.- daveg

Ya, I don't understand the point either but I will humor you. I have #33 with just over 20k. RedEnuf93 states it best though.. If you have #17, there are 16 potential cars lower than you. And as Revheat states in his Doc, VIN Numbers may not fall in order. My date tags says it was finished 2...- daveg

If you going to keep the stock Radio, Luisv's solution is the best.. You can try to use the FM tuner style without it being in line with the antenna but they are useless and you wont be happy with the results... Luisv's instruction are very straight forward and if I was going to do anything...- daveg

Are cooling fans suppose to continue running?
No, they shut off when key is off (on my 96 anyways) but there is a kit you can buy (not sure if it works with a stock setup though) from Roe to adjust when (temp) the fans come on AND they will stay on for a bit (depending on temp) after the car is turned off...- daveg

Lifts
I have 2 Greg Smith lifts, very happy with them.. Also note that they make a double wide lift as well.. So if you are looking for 2, that may be another option instead of 2 singles.. Good luck..- daveg

Draining gas tank on '98 RT/10
Get a pump OR, use a clear hose and fish it in your gas tank and begin sucking!!! as you see the gas getting toward your mouth in the CLEAR hose, put your finger over the end and lower into a gas can. Be careful with the second method because you can get some tasty fuel in your mouth!!! Both...- daveg

Is my Alternator dieing?
Put a Volt meter on the jump points under the hood on left to double check actual voltage when car is running. If still low, take alternator out to have it tested. Also check belt tension.- daveg

No Problems here as well. Cleaned mine with no issues or CEL's.. If you look at K&N's site, they deny any problems related to Mass Air Flow Sensor failures etc. with their oil / Filters...- daveg
