If you think the above, just run a coolant combustion check. Easy test to do kit available at local auto store and they might even loan it to you but you will need to buy the fluid that is a consumable.
Clean it first before greasing it (that goes for anything really) and look at it for broke or bent pieces, if it shifted, etc.
Then use a screwdriver or something to flip the latch closed and then open. See how it operates. When it closes to will spring closed. Check it on your other cars...
If you call SCT and explain what happened can they lead you to what might have happened?
Or talk with one of the tuners that dealt/deal with SCT tuning.
Hopefully you didn't brick the PCM requiring JTAG to upload the firmware.
Someone just posted on the other forum that they broke the clips and Dean said he greases them as he R&Rs them a lot to read the plugs as he tracks his baby.

Word is they have gone a lot better but still people move away from them...
You will fall into this hole like all the low production vehicles owners do. The better option to spacers would be 3 piece wheels where you can select the barrel size and then change it in the future (get them rebuilt) to fit whatever tire is available. Or sell your old wheels and buy newer ones.
