    You may not have to, but it makes it a lot easier to work in that area, and is only two bolts.

    It is much easier on the driver's side than the passenger's side. The driver's side is pretty straightforward...just pull the rubber flexible cable routing thingie up on the door and body side, and shove the speaker wire through...it won't take too much effort until you can grab it and pull it...

    Just have to drop the column...I also removed the seat to give me more room to work. The steering wheel can stay attached to the column.

    If you dig back in this thread, you'll find that they tried to do something similar for our cars, but it won't work because of the way the BCM controls the window indexing when opening/closing the doors. That I know of, they never were able to come up with the correct sensor to allow the smart...

    Yes...it would affect all Vipers from 2003-2010, and possibly the 2013s depending on whether or not the rear knuckle is the old design just flipped.

    Personally, I think SRT should have offered two engine options: one being the current motor, and the other a 5.5L DOHC engine that revs to 10,000 RPMs. While they are at it, they should also offer a 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 speed automatic; 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 speed flappy paddle; and a 4, 5, 6, and 7...

    What type of fitting is it? Teflon tape is generally not recommended in applications where a small piece can break off and possibly find its way into moving parts...if that's the case, you'd use the liquid/paste version available at any auto parts store. If it is an NPT (pipe thread) fitting...

    I think you might be jumping the gun a bit on this one...the Feds are looking into a couple reported incidents where the knuckle that provides the attachment point for the rear toe link cracked. An investigation does not mean a recall in any way, shape, or form, and the issue has been discussed...

    The belly pan would prevent you from being able to do that, but you wouldn't want to do that anyway. The frame rails that run on either side are a better choice.

    You might want to try a better quick detailer then...I've been using ClearKote Quik Shine for the better part of the last 4-5 years, and it is the closest thing I've found to Zaino Z6 as far as leaving the surface slick, doesn't haze, and is generally pretty cheap.

    I've always been a bit leary of car covers for outdoor use...a good gust of wind can easily unseat it, and then it'll sit there and flop around on your paint until you discover it. The ones I've used also don't seem to keep the car very clean at all.

    Gen V close to the 10's

    None of those were really clean passes, so there's definitely more left in them. Get a good day with a negative DA and you'll easily see 10s and 130+ traps.
