Curbed my first wheel. That sound goes right up your spine and freezes your brain. Any of you had success with repair and re-polishing? Or is it new wheel time? The rash is just on the edge but it's there.
Re: Car Won\'t Start
Jezus, what a post! A wealth of trouble shooting info. I'm getting a relay Mon. just to have it. Glad you got it worked out. I haven't had any issues yet but I've only got 3800 mi on 'er.
Thanks for the pic post V10. My computer talents are limited. Don't let the $45 scare you, kids. Ebay/Dakmart for $14 includes ship. Merry, big capital, C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S.
This is probably old news to you guys but I just got my Viper ('94) phone off Ebay. Fun piece for the desk. It doesn't look too bad; and it works! A little Maguire's Clean and Polish gives it a nice Viper shine. Now if I can just paint it steel grey. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Steel grey/cognac is definitely one of the best combos. Just wish they offered silver stripes on the RT from the factory. The coupe is gorgeous. Just the right amount of under-statement. My 2c.
These things are all over bone yards in bins before you even enter. They're basically generic Dodge jacks out of Neons, etc. Will set you back $5. I got an extra so I don't have to pull mine out of the trunk to pull a tire off.
A very common Viper trait. Search the site (use search box at bottom of forum page). There are dozens of threads on this issue. Someone has yet to say "What a gorgeous car but what's that ugly gap on the left?"
I luv these kind of forums. I don't think we're all on the same page. My dictionary defines ROMP as: 1. to play or frolic boisterously. 2. to win a race easily. 3. lively, merry play; frolic. noun, an easy win. Have fun with your Viper any way you wish. Nuf sed.
Well Cop Mag, Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I'll re-phrase: discretionary romping. And "macho" IS what Vipers are all about whether you're male or female. That's why God invented Miatas; so we'd know the difference. Fortunately, stop and go is behind me. Skip shift in that context would...
Hopefully, soon you'll be out of "old lady mode". I go with the traffic flow, throwing in a burst every now and then just to let 'em know. Zero to 40 in a second is always fun (check for cops and traffic) at the stoplight. I watch traffic like a hawk. You never know when some dufus is taking a...
Santo, This is a car you have to get aquainted with. Mine has Borla. I LIKE it. Going around the city block don't tell you sh*t. Get this car on a mountain road and it's the most fun you'll have with your clothes on. I never get out of 1st in a parking lot. Who needs skip-shift. 3 grand seems...
I like it. Marv told me about this car last year when I first started looking. I didn't persue it because it was out of reach. Pricey! Very unique though. You just have to decide whether you like it better than sapphire and if it's worth the extra $$$. Good luck.
Man, you guys need some hobbies. Who cares what some dufus thinks about Gen I's. Same as good pistons ('99) bad pistons(00). Who cares. Life's too short get on with it!
You can't lose either way. I like the openess of my RT10. Sat in a GTS and decided it felt a little confining. In the summer time I figure I'll get a little heat relief in my RT10. It's strictly personal preference
Re: can\'t find the keyhole.....
Actually I wired up my ignition to the "Clapper" to get rid of that ugly hole. You just have to stay away from large public events involving applause.
