Thanks for post, i completely agree with your suggestions.
I decided to list it for $39,999.
I think there is a type of buyer who wants a totally stock Viper and am counting on this to somewhat be a differentiator for me to sell quickly.
It never made it to the track and I never abused it but I did get chances to drive it like it was intended at times. My plan is to reduce overcrowding in my garage, selling a handful of cars.
Once new Viper comes out, buy one for track use. If Dodge ends up NOT bringing the Viper back again...
I decided to hold off on Viper upgrades and came to the conclusion that to make this car right would be too much effort and cost and I'd still not have what I ultimately want, a track car.
Decided to sell my '05 Viper after all - bone stock original and very clean. Fixing a bit of curb rash...
Trying to gauge the market to sell my '05 Viper with less than 14k miles. It never made it to the track and I never abused it but I did get chances to drive it like it was intended at times.
The car had 4 miles on it when I took delivery in '04 and I love driving it on nice days. Bone stock...
Have we ever applied for MD vanity plates? I need to re-register my Viper and was looking for the logo'd plate option but don't see it.
Anyone try to do this? I think setting it up is pretty easy, there's a form etc. I'm happy to run the process, I don't think there's a minimum but I'd need...
Hey All - Today I renewed my membership after letting it expire. Long story but I got my 1/2 of the Viper back after my divorce became final on Monday!
Looking to get back involved with events and catch up. My red '05 is in great shape but needs some updates. First thing I want to do is...
Haters and people who are jealous - ignoring them is tough but they have some serious problems if they confront you over nothing. I try to keep that in mind when people are jerks - really difficult not to loose my temper sometimes but they are the ones with the life that sucks so bad they have...
Regardless of what transmission changes are made to the Viper it isn't going to turn it into a high volume selling car. The Viper (is great) is a niche car that brings a halo to the company but doesn't drive significant business on the hole.
What Chrysler needs is high volume sales in broad...
I went with Fast-Flor @ garagewares.com Fast -Floor Diamond Tiles. The price was amazing and the tiles seemed to be good.
Assembly/installation was easy - I have 388 sq/ft of floor in the garage + 22 as extras, they were $1.75 each for $679.
However, I'm still trying to deal with the tiles...
The max deductible is one of the keys to saving money. I've used the max ($1000) for all my cars for years. I don't know how much it equates to but it must be thousands over 10 years and 3-6 cars at a time.
I have a few chips on the rockers as well. I went to Drcolorchip.com and purchased a kit from them. Comes with paint, sealer and applicator. They have an online app that allows you to select the model, year and color of the car so it will match - so they say.
It's a bit cold in the garage...
I can't take credit for it, it is pretty clever.
I have a 2 car garage with 2 doors.
It works great - I was pretty amazed actually. Smooth running up and down.
