    StarterWire ?

    :dunno: While checking Battery cable connection on my 06 Starter, found a wire (appx. 14G) Yellow w/Brown stripe disconnected from top of Solenoid.Wire end is a female & on starter solenoid there's a male Spade connection. Anyone know what it's for ? :omg: Thanks for the Help.:drive:

    Slow start when hot

    FWIW, I couldn't decide on a Battery to purchase after reading all the post's. Decided to buy a Sears Platinim Battery. 880 CCA's, fits perfect (in an 06) & cranks much faster than the 2 1/2 yr. old battery . :dunno: :rolleyes: Good Luck

    HELP electrical problem

    Have Battery checked out / load test. Try to isolate when problem occurs, I.E. when cranking/starting, under acceleration, steady speed,when first occured, Don't overlook the simple things thinking it's something major. Good Luck. :2tu:

    Aluminum interior vents

    I had custom alum. vents in a few of my Street Rods, & moisture formed on them from the cold air, & needed cleaning after awhile . I've seen some vents chrome plated & looked pretty good. Try a street rod co. like Vintage Air. Good luck :drive:

    :crazy2:Twister, I apoligise for the smart A#% remarks, just having a REALLY BAD Day, but thats no excuse. It just touched a nerve when someone puts down a Viper. In reality I love both cars. (My friend had an NSX. A very nice car for it's time.) Time to take my Blood Pressure Pills. :2tu:

    Driving fast

    I ocassionally like to "let her stretch" but around here the police are unmerciful & will slam you to the ground, impound your car,& I'd hate to think about what my insurance would rise to.Also, our region recently had a member seriously injured in a street race.

    Driving in the rain with turbos

    No problem with running the car in a "Normal Rain",just got caught on interstate Hwy. in a very heavy downpour. Changer engine oil,filter, air filters & installed new Iridium plugs & still has miss & bucks @ highway speed (70mph). Accelerates like normal, just won't maintain a steady rpm...
