Lot's of thread here and on the *** regarding Gen 1 RT/10 dashes.
If you want it to look really good, you need to repaint it. Good luck, take a look at all the various threads. Mike
RDC, get with Jonb at Viper parts Rack. He'll source you the best prices and knows what is available for Vipers. He's a true subject matter expert on all parts Viper! He can also drop ship to your local installer.
good luck, Mike
MoparMap mentioned your adjustable pedals, you are aware of that aren't you?
The seat lowering kit will help with headroom and reduce some of that 90 degree angle you have today, but the kit just drops the seat down closer to the floorboard, it won't give you more for/aft.
No one makes a kit...
Reach out to John Temple (temple performance. He's repaired a number of soft tops with OEM like materials. I'd recommend you have him do everything and ship back to you. Good luck! Mike

ViperRed, I have a '92 soft top and windows for sale if you are still looking. They are the vinyl versions for the '92's and early '93's
Easiest way to reach me is via email; [email protected]
Nothing cheap, Motec sells traction control module in conjunction with the ECU's. Probably a $4-$5 k solution all in. You might want to lift your sights to a G5 Viper, traction control and stability control are standard
Since both you guys are out of warranty, go to Todd at A&C, or to Dan Cragin at SPT in Alhambra. My preference is Dan and he is one of has one of the best Viper shops in the US.
When I first saw this on BAT it was interesting to see that it was first registered 05/25/1995. Comment below makes sense why.
Seller posted this today;
I have also been in contact with the original owner who confirmed that this car was initially owned by Chrysler and was used in the traveling...
Well obviously your new to the forum. Next time try the search feature or use google.
Below is from a post dated 1/17/07 from the Viper Wizard himself;
There are two numbers on your block, VIN & motor serial # and you can't get yours on line. It will only give you a range of motor numbers...
I don't have 1st hand experience but SVSI built many high HP vipers back in the late 90's. Shop is long gone.
Get a leak down test and run it on a dyno to see if it has the power claimed. Keep in mind unless the motor has been rebuilt, SVSI did the work on that Viper 20 years ago.
Here's a...
Vincent, might want to also call Dan Cragin at SPT, he may have a working used one.
also, I looked on ebay, 2 different folks offer repairs services for about $200.00 I can't endorse them but just making you aware.
The only one's you might find are a mint take-off. Try eBay or the various FB viper parts groups.
Pretty straightforward to paint, find a high end shop. Lot's of Viper's have repainted facia's. Good luck, Mike
Mopar, if you use the analogy "that you are getting half as much metal at twice the cost" then think about the difference between gold and lead!
If your just cruising around then just use stock rotors and save money.
JonB knows more than me but I think only the StopTech rings work on the ACR...
Congrats, that looks like a real nice Viper
To your questions;
-I would like to drive with the seat all the way back however I do not reach the pedals all that well. Is there a pedal kit that would bring them closer? There is a kit made to move the seat track forward for folks that can't reach...
Jditit, I would guess at that price Woodhouse is including corner weighting as well as setting the camber to how you intend to drive; factory, mild aggressive, track. They know Viper suspension and race Vipers. If that's the case $600 is reasonable.
Nice write up, thanks!! I'm over due and found out the only way to address the regulator is via tank removal
How long did the process take for you?
thanks, Mike
They bite better and stay consistent as well withstand heat better
You are going to see only a little more bite so don’t worry. Just make sure to get them warmed up before you need hard braking
I don’t think tires help heat up the pads. If you go to a race pad just drag the brakes on the warm up out lap. I run a Comp coupe, I lightly apply the brakes for maybe 15-20 seconds , 5 seconds at a time, to get heat in the pads and rotors
Along with the pads you need high temp brake fluid. I...
Kevin, The newer G4 and G5 are really a hassle to read "ready"
I sold my G4 4 years ago, swap the ECU to Stock, and drove close to 300 miles and it still wasn't ready.
I finally found a Chrysler "drive cycle" recommendation and it cleared in about 20 miles
First, clear any CEL's. With your...
