    Differential oil change...

    Heating up the lube bottles before squeezing in makes it much easier and less mess. A hair dryer works pretty good to heat the bottles up. For some reason the fill plug leaks on some of these cars. I clean all the threads real good and add a little teflon tape to the plug before re- installing...

    A 2 inch drop will require changing the springs and caps. Give Todd a call at A&C Performance. Todd has done a few Gen-2 ACR drops.

    The 99 ACR Konis are stiff riding at the factory setting. You can lower the car about one inch but it will ride like a buck board on the street.

    Fitzgerald Motorsports installed them on their Gen-1 Shelby conversions. Do a search for Shelby Vipers. There should be some pics showing the caps on Gen-1 cars.

    I use fishing line. The newer braided line works great but a 10-20 lb. mono will do. Cut off about two feet of line. Make sure the caps are warm before attempting removal. I use a hairdryer to heat them up. They are easy to break when cold. Any metal tool will mar your finish no matter how...
