Weather looks like it will be okay from Kelowna through to the Island next weekend...but you never know what you will get on the mountain passes!

Our region is so large that it is tough to get more than 20 cars out for an event. BUT, we would love for some of the Alberta (and east) members to take the bull (Ram??) by the horns and plan something in their neck of the woods!!
So i took the '03 Viper in for an oil change and the tech mentioned that I have 8mm left on the front pads..and the rears. This seems strange to have the same left on both front & rear....
My question though is when do they need to be replaced? How many mm is the minimum for safe operation? At...
I really hope it works out for you guys. I was choked that I couldn't make it for other reasons...not snow though!! Gotta love Alberta! I left Edmonton 18 years ago and have never looked back........you need to move to BC!!!!!

I did change all fluids this year and also had the car "checked" as it was required for track days. I think I'll skip having someone look at it now but I will check into extended warranties a bit more.

My 7 year powertrain warranty runs out in March but I am parking my Viper for the winter very soon.
My question is, do you think it is advisable to have the car checked over by the dealer, before I store for the winter, to see if there are any powertrain issues that should be taken care of while...
