    Pics of my ACR Roadster

Finally got around to getting a professional photographer to get some shots of the ACR. I'm quite pleased! Pics were done by Wes at [email protected]

    SRT Track Experience

I've been twice (07 and 08, we got to drive Vipers in 1st gear as said before), had a blast both times, but left wanting a little more instruction. They offered an advanced course a year or two back, never took them up on it as it was very limited in location and dates, and cost $1500 iirc...

Who is running Nitto Invo's? Pics?

Interesting, I thought they did terrible at the drag strip. I've heard the same from other drag racers who, like me, switch them off when at the strip. Nitto tires in general are notorious for being useless though unless you do a John Force burnout, maybe I just wasn't heating them up...

Who is running Nitto Invo's? Pics?

I've run Invos on my other SRTs, have to say, I've never been terribly impressed with them -- straight line grippiness (while launching or going open throttle) has never been as good as I thought they should be. They do corner well, though. They do look good, but I prefer Goodyear F1s over Invo.

    Stallone's new ride?

Indeed! That's the picture that sold me on the model! I defer to your car as being my inspiration!

    Stallone's new ride?

Not to threadjack - this is Sly's thread, A couple ot teasers: The "announcement" thread I did on the local scene board with crappy pics I took the second day I had my ACR Roadster, got all three of my SRTs lined up (and the Yukon in the garage, it wasn't being social that day): ACR...

Sweet! What number of the 20 did he get?

    Ever get called a Corvette?

Several of the car-guys I hang out with will intentionally call it: Vette S2000 Miata Porsche Ferrari in front of non-car guys to try to goad them (and me).

    ACR X Dyno run

Would love to see it on a non-Dynojet dyno, just to see what its real numbers would be ;-) My ~530ish RWHP Challenger magically read 566 RWHP on a Dynojet. Impressive, nonetheless!

    Bypass exhaust screamer valves

Maybe you mean the Bubb Rubb whistle tips that go WOOOO WOOOOO

    Bypass exhaust screamer valves

Electric cutouts use a motor and rocker switch mounted in the cockpit; those are manual where the cable would be run into the cockpit and you'd pull it to physically pull the cutouts open, or push it to close them back. Where you actually mounted it would be up to you.

    My New 2013 Viper!

That is the case with the SRT-8s as well, the ESP button pressed once "disables" stability and traction control, but not really. It's like 60-70% off. If you hold the ESP button down for 8 seconds, you'll hear a "ding" chime and ESP turns "REALLY OFF" but it's still only like 90% off. There...

    Bypass exhaust screamer valves

That, I have no idea on, I'm still learning the V-10 ins and outs myself. I know the 6.1 L V-8 PCM will not, even with an aftermarket one.

    Top Gear USA

I like the show. You can't compare it to UK Top Gear, just like you can't compare The Office to the UK version. It's a different animal. I have all the UK episodes on my computer and still watch them regularly (and even own an "I Am The Stig" t-shirt), but that doesn't mean that I can't get...

    Bypass exhaust screamer valves

Electric cutouts last quite a while, they are made for the temps. My problems with mine are from the Y-pipe being welded too dangly, and they hang 2" off the ground. Clearance issues break my cutouts regularly. As for the amount of time to open and close, you're right, they're not instant...

    Bypass exhaust screamer valves

I have electric cutouts on my supercharged Challenger, and on the dyno it actually loses about 3-5 HP with the cutouts open. I'd be very surprised if you gained any HP at all without specifically tuning the engine for the loss of backpressure. As for driving with cutouts open, all I can...

Tall guys: save my dream car for me...

I'm 6'4" also with a 34" inseam and 230 lbs. I got the 2" seat lowering kit because with the top down, I felt like it was easier to look over the top of the windshield than look through it, but with the seat lowered now I'm great, and can also fit with my helmet just fine. The lowering kit is...

Hey, that looks a lot like mine! :rolaugh:

    Crap Magnet

I've heard the "parking next to a nice car because I'm considerate and won't door ding you, and to keep away someone who would" excuse before. It's a legitimate reason, but I think also they just really wanted to park there to look like they are special too.

    World's Fastest Windows Server*

(* on four wheels) I do IT consulting and I have a few connections with the industry. A fellow IT guy, Microsoft MVP, author, and generally crazy computer friend of mine, Tim Barrett, from Louisville, hit upon a heretofore-untapped server market and decided to mount a Windows Small...

    Curbed Wheel, Options?

Cool, thanks for the info guys! Yes, it's a regularly driven car so I know stuff like this is going to happen. Cheap is good, especially when I know it'll probably happen again!

    Curbed Wheel, Options?

So, I took the ACR to a cruise-in and was parallel parked next to a curb on a street, and I misjudged my distance. Curbed the front passenger wheel, got some road rash and a little burr on the CF splitter. Not too worried about the CF at this point. What are my wheel options? Obviously a...

Edgewater Test & Tune - Cinci, OH 10/15

Not the greatest video, but I did line up against my arch-nemesis... my own Challenger! My buddy Thomas, who normally drives a Mustang, took the typical Ford way out and tried to win through smoking me out!
