I predict that you will see an updated ME412 design with a Hellcat engine for power and an eight speed auto or 6 speed manual available. The car will be incredible. Model year? Pure guess: 2019.
I did not mean to limit responses to only vendors who have signed up. I am trying to get a picture of the current universe of offerings out there with some specific data. The key is posting the specific data requested so that Viper owners have enough information to accurately evaluate the...
The purpose of this thread is to allow any vendor who currently has a (key word) "tested" kit available for the Gen V. If you are a vendor, please post the following data about the kit and yourself:
1. Dynograph stating type of dyno used and weather conditions.
2. Components of kit.
3. Cost...
Hi. Look at post number 1 above. Bill is the National President of the VCA. Also read the Newsletter that you should have received as a download today. Note that they need a National Treasurer. You have been looking at the 990s, etc. for a long time. If you have the time, you should consider...
It is obvious that they are both a bit prissy. But they were, and are, so boxed in by what the test driver said that they had no choice. Randy is absolutely in love with the car. And what he says counts a thousand times more than what two twerps have to say. The one negative thing that was...

What's sweet is that this was a Motor Trend car test and they picked the Viper ACR as the winner. 3 seconds per lap. Incredible.
One point of clarification with respect to the letter. I am not the tax attorney referred to in it. Any assistance I have provided to the VCA with respect to any tax matter, or otherwise, if any, was on a pro bono basis. The tax attorney referred to is one of the leading exempt organization tax...
I would help the VCA pro bono on this if it was within my field of expertise and I was admitted to Texas. But it is not and I am not. Considering the fact that the VCA is a non profit entity with very limited assets as seen from the publicly filed Form 990s, this is a peculiar case. Why would...
1. I received my magazines by email and in the mail. I do not think there were four so you may be right on that point. CJ? How many were sent for 2015? But then there is the issue of whether we count the number produced on the fiscal year of the club or the calendar membership year. I'd say the...
So I looked at it more closely and I think the Dart has a Mopar optional hood on it and maybe a few other Mopar goodies. It is not an SRT. And based on the width of the tires, the Durango is an R/T. Still, it's a great Ad.
Re: *** ( VIDEO ) *** 2016 Viper ACR High Speed Run On The AutoBahn ..
The ACR with the extreme package tops out at 177 MPH. He hit 170 and it got there pretty quickly. It will be interesting to see what the car does at the Ring when Dodge finally runs it there.
There are five vehicles in the commercial. Viper, Challenger, Charger, what looks like a Dodge Durango based on the grille and a fifth vehicle that looks smaller with a center hood scoop. Looks like SRT showed us something new in the commercial. Maybe a Hellcat Durango and an SRT Dodge Dart...
I know that you meant this post to be funny Sam but just to keep things clear, the burden of proof to prove one paid for the tickets is on the taxpayer. The IRS would require proof of payment for the tickets and trying to use them without paying for them to generate a tax loss or offset income...
Good post Sam. With the Viper ceasing production in 2017, change will occur in both clubs regardless of what past or current leaders wish to happen. Hopefully, that change will involve combining the best assets of both clubs in some fashion and preserving same for those who keep their Vipers...
The rear ACR bar was the same. I had the parts code checked. I did not notice any negative effect but keep in mind that I also had Eibachs and Motons with the car lowered a bit and corner balanced. I only tracked it twice after the sway bar change and I liked the improvement. I did not notice...
Hi Allan. One of the upgrades I did to my former supercharged Gen III was the installation of a Gen IV ACR front antisway bar. The rear one was the same as stock. The difference was immediately noticeable. It was an inexpensive and worthwhile mod.
I think the more accurate question is whether the 2017 or 2018 model will be the last one. The 2017 model will be out by next next summer if the usual schedule is followed. So a 2018 model in 2017 is certainly possible.
See your optometrist. LOL. The proper quote from above is: I know this is a bit painful.... But the Freudian slip is interesting. Give it up. What's going on?
Seriously, the individuals who established the VOA who were Board members of the VCA should know, if they do not already realize it...
It is a fun city if you stay within certain defined areas at night and stay at a secure, well managed hotel like the Ritz Carlton. It would not be my choice for a Viper event. We took a limo to and from the Airport and walked or took the Trolley everywhere. So for those who want to park their...
You are making the door prize equivalent to a raffle. It is not equivalent at all. The door prize was only available to those who paid for the event ( I think it was $500)and attended the event. All members did not get a chance to participate equally since the economics of paying for the event...
