Was at VIR last week for 4 days and told a friend of mine I would get some video of his ACR. We had a blast running around the track. If you haven't been to this track you should check it out. It is UNBELIEVABLE!!!

So are you saying eventually the air gets out of the system without bleeding? How does that happen? Anyone else have the problem just go away eventually?
Sounds like a good question for the SRT engineers.
Thanks again for your input.
I've got the same issue at 200 miles. Low clutch pedal that comes back if pumped a few times. Is this an easy DIY clutch bleed process? Hate to bring the car to the dealer. I guess it depends on where the bleed screw is located. Anyone know? Thanks.
Buds had a red Hardcore for sale on Ebay. Don't know if it's still available. Do a search as there seems to be a couple of orange ACR's for sale.
My guess is that Fiat never wanted Viper or else they would have requested it from the start. Instead Chrysler originally dumped it into "Old Chrysler" with the hopes of getting a few bucks for it. Since there were no takers I'm guessing they could have just let it collect dust or give it away...
I've had the privelege of witnessing this firsthand over the last 8 years and I'm still scratching my head. Pretty amazing! Also, this car has not exactly been babied! :D
You think those are firm? I was told by the SRT guys that the spring rates on the Competition Coupes are 1,100 front and 1,500 rear!
Also, does anyone have any idea why the rates on the rear are greater than the rates on the front? I always thought that on a front engine car you would have...
Chuck, why do you think I spend time in Colorado? :D Don't know if it will actually happen but check out the track layout and the size of the runway straight! 200+ MPH!!

I didn't realize you had a shop so close to my house. I'm in Parkland. I'll have to stop over sometime. I'm also going to send you a PM about powdercoating some wheels.
Not sure. I've probably seen a few white/black with drivers stripe and a few without drivers stripe. Then there are several white cars with dual stripes of varying colors.
I was at that event Sat. & Sun. in a black C6 Z06. I remember seeing your car there as I think it was the only Viper I saw the whole weekend. The car looked great. Love the color especially with the black wheels. I should have come over and said hello. Next event I see you at I'll come over...
I think that pretty much sums it up. Although I will add that I bought my ACR from Bud's, had a great experience and they did negotiate several months ago.
I also noticed that the 2 "virtual" ACR's (not yet built) on Ebay had the prices increased to $20K over MSRP. With what's going on with Chrysler I'm surprised that yours is still available at MSRP.
Chuck, I'm shocked and appalled to hear this especially from you! I thought we were living in the 21st century! :rolaugh: Realistically, if the car was crap you wouldn't see many on the road or track. And for the record, I think you almost knocked me off Turn 17 once in a blaze of lock up...
Love the color combination. I was torn between this color and the white/black red drivers stripe. Went with the white, but I think which ever one I happen to be looking at, I like best. Do you ever make it out to Sebring?
You have to wonder whether some GM cost accountant chimed in during the design process and said, "You know we could save $XXX by using 33% less carbon fiber on the hood."
Vette or Viper, doesn't matter to me. Both awesome cars and great values. He who passes at the track days laughs last! All the street driving afterwards is just killing time until the next track day!
