Take off Valve Cover. Take off the rockers. Pull the push rods. Insert tool with magnet(to hold lifter). Easy as a fat kid eating cake. :2tu:
If your going to take the time to do a cam. Make it a solid. You will get alot more power with just as much lump.
Agreed stock gen 2 heads will not work. Ported Gen 4 heads will out flow Strykers on the hot side and just as well on the intake side.
700rwhp+ could be had in a well built N/A Viper engine. It's all there, someone just needs to build it. Didn't that TX WHO UR DADDY do close to 900rwhp...
Why would 650rwhp be too high? You just need to add solid roller cam (big one) and a dry sump, billet mains and rev to 7000rpm.
Chevy engines that run ths setup on 11:1 with about 500ci on pump make about 850bhp. I don't see why a Viper engine couldn't do the same.
Just looking at it from when I just replaced my brakes....it doesn't look any harder, than replacing the brakes on the car. I am looking at doing my mine soon as well.
