does anyone know what the factory fan (with the flaps on one side) flows? I know the newer version was like 2300 CFM, but I need to know what the old one did.
not bad. like stated it's all in the 60' mark. on decent street tires use a smooth motion and slip the clutch so you don't bog but on the point of traction breaking. you should be able to muster a 1.8 or so on good street shoes.
there is a guy on the alley by the name of mbccenter that does rebuilt vipers all the time, he had like 4 last time I checked. reasonable prices, check him out.
sounds like a ford issue there. my 1/2 ton silverado doesn't drop with my heavy steel car trailer with winch, dual batteries, tire rack and tool box with a 900 lb brute force in the back of my truck. pulls 7-8k pretty easily over any distance. get up around 10k and she starts feeling it...
although mine does not have a stock engine, everything else pretty much is, and she cruised over 1500 miles much of it between 100-110 mph not too long ago....the car belongs at that speed for cruising.
