Congrats on your purchase.
This is a smokin deal!
By the time I saw the add on Autotrader and called, they said they had a deposit on it.
Enjoy your new snake.
With the mods and tires you are running, you could shave a couple tenths off your time with good conditions and a good lane. My guess is that you are also a better driver than you are letting on. Most guys can't get down a slippery track like that and still keep it in their lane and off the...
10.67 with a trap speed of 130 mph is impressive with the conditions you describe, even more so if your gen IV is stock. Although watching the video, it doesn't sound like it is. What are your mods, heads, headers? The first 60ft of the track must have been prepped pretty good if you had a 1.64...
It sets the proper height for the up and down position of the window. (assuming your window regulator is working properly)
If you have had a dead battery/battery replacement, its very common to have to index your windows. Once set, your window glass should drop about 1/4 inch when opening the...
Try this:
Index Viper Windows
1) Get in car and close the door.
2) Turn the key on to the second position. Don't start.
3) Cycle window down and hold switch for 5 seconds and release.
4) Cycle window up and hold switch for 5 seconds and release.
5) Repeat 2 more times.
I have a set of the RR-XT-2 67-Inch XT 2-Piece Race Ramps. In order for me to clear on my stock ride height Gen 4, I had to buy the RR-EX-14 extenders. If I had to do it over again I would have bought the RLL-87-2 Race Ramps. Then I wouldn't need to use the extenders.
Right on. I got an assortment of those that I also use. The only issue I have using the syringes is the hose that you put on the end has a tendency to fling fluid when pulling it out of the resevoir.
Exactly what I do. For those of us who also own late model Corvettes, they refer to this as the Ranger Method. I bought a new 427 Convertible this summer and after a hundred miles the clutch fluid had turned dark. Instead of a turkey baster I use a couple 2 ounce ear bulbs. One to remove the...
Not sure what jack stands you are using, but I highly recomend the Esco 10498. They have a flat top rubber pad and each of the legs have a circular pad to provide stability on any surface. I don't believe I am allowed to post the link to them, but if you pm me I will send it to you. (I am Not...
How about posting some pictures and a brief write up for your anyone else that may be contemplating this same install? I am seriously thinking about doing this also. Thanks
Check the rubber bumpers on your rear hatch. When I drove my 2010 coupe for the first time I heard a slight thump every time I encountered a bump in the road. The rubber bumbers on my hatch were adjusted to short. The hatch was bouncing up and down ever so slightly and causing the thump.
