Are they really that bad?
It won't be any worse than the stock battery, which lasted less than 1 year on my 06. It now has a yellow top, I feel it is superior to the red top and has been without a tender for up to 1 month in a NJ winter with no issues. I however tend to keep tenders on all my cars. Question for folks who do or run track days/HPDE/Viper Days . . .
As you already know, there have been cases where the waiver has not provided protection from other parties, with reagrds to incidents on the track. In addition, it is probably best to have all valuable assets placed in a completely different environment. I am sure you know what I mean.- fastmd

Is this price ok for an 08?
That car was bought used by the owner, from a person who won the car on the price is right. Venom red also always pulls low numbers. There is no price authority, everything is individual.- fastmd
