1496 rwhp dyno graph, vid, etc...

You cannot drive a stock Viper spiritedly in the rain either! I got caught in the rain with that car making about 1150 RWHP with bald 345 BFG's and drove it home no problem. The resolution of how the boost comes on with the turbo sizing on this car makes it very easy to modulate how much...

I remember blowing off the 345 BFG's on JD's car at the top of 4th with about 1150 RWHP. Super smooth, no drama. It just goes straight on a smooth surface, very nice! I bet the back end would not step out all that terribly much at 200 MPH in 5th gear!:headbang: I would imagine 5th would...

1496 rwhp dyno graph, vid, etc...

Here are a couple of pictures of where the electric cutouts are located: The cutouts picked up about 250 RWHP running about 20 PSI making about 1400 RWHP. The benefit of this setup is that you can have the car running with the cutouts closed on the street and be quieter than...

1496 rwhp dyno graph, vid, etc...

The black stuff on the floor is the exhaust being dumped before the side sills. This allows the turbos to spool more quickly by alleviating the resistance of having to go through the exhaust all the way out the back of the car. With the electric cutouts closed, the car is docile and more...

Heffner Twin Turbo GTS for sale, great deal.

Casey, How about posting a dyno sheet with the heads and cam and latest upgrades? Does that motor have billet main caps to hold power levels over 900 RWHP? What kind of turbos does the car have? T-03/T-04 GT35R hybrids or T-04 turbine housings? From what I remember, after the blower, you...

Updated Gen 2 CPE Front Mount Twin Turbo System Design Pics

Re: Updated Gen 2 CPE TT System design pics FE065, If you look at the pictures carefully, you can see there is a stainless steel mesh screen protecting the intercooler cores from road debris. Here are a couple of better pictures of anther install to illustrate.

Updated Gen 2 CPE Front Mount Twin Turbo System Design Pics

Re: Updated Gen 2 CPE TT System design pics Bolt, it's funny you say that. I have had two customers so far who had been adamant they only wanted 600 RWHP because they thought it might be too much of a handfull who, ultimately, got in the car and felt they would like about 100-200 more RWHP...

Updated Gen 2 CPE Front Mount Twin Turbo System Design Pics

Re: Updated Gen 2 CPE TT System design pics Jon, you are correct about the negative pressure in front of the foglights on the Gen 2. This is because there is no airflow through the front of the wheelwell because it is solid. Think about how much air goes into the opening in the front fascia...

Updated Gen 2 CPE Front Mount Twin Turbo System Design Pics

Here are some pictures of the latest iteration of my front mount DIY TT with the 76 GTS turbos: I decided to upgrade all the systems to the side mounted intercoolers like I originally put on my car almost 2.5 years ago. Without the front mount intercooler blocking the air going to the...

    Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump anyone?

How does JID take off his Weldom??????? LOL! On a more serious note, I say go with a dual in tank setup and forget the external pumps. You do not have to run a fuel pump controller and the in tank pumps will always be cooled by the fuel! If the stock pump can make 800 RWHP on my...

gts ps window sucked out at 175mph

Rory97, that is about the usual MPH that the windows get sucked out. I just had a twin turbo 1997 GTS whose windows got sucked out right at 200 MPH as we pulled 6th gear. I usually go 200+ with the windows open.
