    CPE Twin Turbo dyno results

NOTV8, the only thing not included in my kit is the tune you could get from John Reed(Who tuned Gary's car) People have been running 10 PSI on supercharger cars on cast pistons with good results! Who's the Baddest?

Re: Who\'s the Baddest? Futureacrowner, My car made 1509 RWTQ at 24PSI through an automatic transmission in overdrive on a Mustang dyno with a set of heads that flow a good 40 less CFM on the intake at .600 lift than a set of Greg Good heads. The valves had a bunch of shims instead of more...

    Who's the Baddest?

Re: Who\'s the Baddest? My DIY Viper TT has put down around 1100 RWHP on 12 PSI with some more tuning left on the table. We are shooting to refine the tune and run some bigger power at the same boost level and then up the boost in the next couple of weeks. My DIY Viper Twin Turbo system is...

forced induction theory question: why is boost more at front than at rear?

Joe, I think it is because the front of the manifold is measuring the restriction of the air entering the throttle bodies to begin filling the manifold. At the back of the manifold, it is measuring after the entire plenum volume has been filled(while at the same time, each time that bank...

What R best alignment specs & where to go in North Dallas area?

PowerKraus, One more thing: make sure you run the tire pressure you will be running on the street. I run 32 PSI front, 30 rear. Also make sure you sit in the driver's seat while they do the alignment! :2tu:

What R best alignment specs & where to go in North Dallas area?

PowerKraus, here you go: 6 degrees caster 1/16" in all the way around -.5 camber in rear, -.75 to -1.0 fronts(to not burn up the tires too fast) That should be a good overall alignment for the street.

    Turbo System Design Discussions

Simms, we have probably made 8 or so iterations of this system each time getting the fitment tolerances to be easier and easier. It's really all in how the jigs are made and of course, the skill of the welder. My fabricator is phenomenal and has years of experience not only in fabrication, but...

Whew! Just got back in from test driving my customer's Mustang with the single turbo system I designed, fabricated/fitted together, tacked together and had my fabricator weld up and make the jigs! It sounds fantastic with that 5" downpipe! The car is ready to go to the dyno after only 10 weeks...

    Turbo System Design Discussions

Russ, I started out to make a low budget, non intercooled system last May. After datalogging the air intake temperatures with the AEM without an intercooler with a very efficient pair of turbos, I decided against the non-intercooled route.
