SICK SICK SICK! :omg:
SweetRide has an older brother (who has more $$$)!
Not a fan of the time attack pin-stripe, but those P40 Monoblock wheels are the best wheel available for a Viper right now.
Sticky tires will amaze you and give you what you want. If you keep the OEM 18" wheels I suggest Toyo R888 tires. Correct sizing, very sticky, cool looking tread.
Nice to see you finally put some rubber on those rims! Did you do the Nitto NT-05s? Too bad it is 110F here and Vipers are not so fun. I haven't seen you buzz by my office in a long time. What did you do for black lug nuts and center caps? BTW, perfect wheel gap IMHO.
I guessing $30k is the resistance point for a Gen II. My ad for my 98 GTS at $35k = no interest in the first two weeks.
Solid Silver 98 GTS - ViperClub Classifieds
I see a new solid silver 98 GTS is listed for $37,500 now. Hope he has better luck.
Re: Whats better Balanger headers or ACRX headers?
OEM exhausts components and systems have to last 80k miles - therefore you are always going to see OEM parts made of stainless (though they do not use the brittle 304 stainless which can be polished that aftermarket manufactureres use). OEM vs...
My 1998 manual says 100 ft lbs and that is how tight I always put top and bottom. It is pretty dang tight. Remember to load all the weight on that particular corner before you titghten the bottom so the rubber bushing around the lower bolt is not twisted when you set the car down (the manual...
I want to extend my advertisement:
Solid Silver 98 GTS - ViperClub Classifieds
but cannot figure out how to do it. Am I stuck placing a new ad when it runs out (which at least would "bump" it to the classifieds home page so would not be horrible), or can I extend a current ad?

NOTICE: the o-rings that seal the joints between the hard lines and the condensor are known bad fromt he factory on 98s. The new o-rings avaialbel are an upgraded part. I replaced mine 5+ years ago and no leaks since. It was not the condensor itself.
So it has the Viper IRS and control arms in the rear? In any event, sounds more like a inner fender/tub/off-set issue than anything to do with control arms.
Can I get a second on this being the worst factory Viper color combo - ever?
Next they will be doing dolpin decals at CAAP a la Trans Am "Frie Chicken" :rolaugh:
With no direct knowledge, but having monitored this forum for the last six years, I beleive that sounds like a weak spark plug wire issue. Tons of load, at high heat = miss = sounds like plug wires. Try searching that topic - specifically with user ab.
1) Dave's car sold because he died.
2) The car had 80k+ miles on it.
Apples. Oranges. Yamminy yamminy. For a benchmark of what it is like to sell a Viper, my own classified has been up short of a week, but I have received ZERO inquiries. It is a buyer's market.
Probably not if they are huge, but mine where very slight (just enough to goof the balance of the front wheels) so you cannot even feel them after correcting the balance.
IT WORKED FOR ME!!! :D

Can you tell I am excited?
I've gotten that before, but best was guy sitting at table at sidewalk cafe right by where I parked. Started to walk from the car and the guys ask "what kind of car is that?" I answered "Viper" and he says "who makes that?" When I said "Dodge" his face got all twisted into a weird look and he...
