    Question for Sean Roe

I don't think he's been hanging around here anywhere lately. One would have thought the President of the Roe fanclub would have sent him an e-mail, which he virtually always answers within a few hours. Sorry Stu, couldn't resist. :)

    HRE 546 and 546R differences

The original HRE's have a stepped down lip; sort of a two-stage deal that looks kind of like a lip within a lip. The R series has a wide flat lip that goes straight to the spokes. This is the much more popular look these days, and the R's look significantly larger than the regular series in...

A big thanks to Jason Heffner

I'm in TN, and this was a conversion from Jason's centrifugal system to the TT's with no engine work. I also already had an adequate fuel system and AEM. Obviously if someone is having engine work done, a fuel system installed, etc. things would likely take a little longer.

A big thanks to Jason Heffner

Two and a half weeks, and the communication was excellent.

A big thanks to Jason Heffner

Pics are above. I don't have the dyno sheet in front of me (I think my son took it to show his disbelieving friends) but the hp was a little under 1,000 at the wheels and the torque was around 1,050. It was tuned on about 10 gallons of 93 and 3-4 gallons of race gas, and once I get that run...

A big thanks to Jason Heffner

Another Heffner twin-turbo was born last week, and I just wanted to say thanks to Jason and his crew for the quick turnaround, the great communication on what was going on, and of course most especially on the finished product. I remember well maybe 2 years ago when we were all going gaga over...

    supercharging - engine life span

Re: supercharging Gen II which one??? I have had the Roe, a Heffner custom Paxton setup, and now have Heffner twin-turbos, and I think you are under a misimpression to the extent you're comparing the Roe and Paxton DIY kits. I don't know whether Paxton has been able to market enough Gen. II...

    supercharging - engine life span

There seem to be a lot of examples of blown cars with several tens of thousands of miles on them, but then again 15k miles a year would put you at the high end of the scale for Viper drivers. As always, individual results may vary.

    WAYYY TOO LOUD

Another option is a pair of turbos between your headers and the rest of the system.

    Exhaust help...

I think you'll find headers and a catback system with no cats, but leaving the mufflers in the sidesills, plenty loud enough. You will get at least 2-3 times the increase in volume you got from removing the resonators, especially at WOT. Not to mention your sidesills will be mildly warm rather...

Heffner Novi 2000 System for sale

The Paxton fuel system would be another inexpensive alternative for someone who doesn't want to buy a complete fuel system right now. Lower power than I was making and less money now, but easy to upgrade later.

Heffner Novi 2000 System for sale

I'm going to put this in the classifieds but thought I would mention it here as well. Jason is converting my s/c sytem to TT's and I am selling the s/c system, less the fuel system and engine management, which I can still use with the TT's. So basically I'm selling everything else: polished...

    Heffner or Palo?

Good thing he didn't need a triple bypass.

Hey, I represent that remark.

    Heffner or Palo?

How exactly did Paolo go from being a Heffner supercharger customer to a tuner in a year or so?

    Roe vs. other SC's

Re: Roe vs. other SC\'s This is not true. The twin-screw is actually one of the most efficient forms of forced induction there is and is more efficient than a centrifugal. The reason the twin-screw doesn't have the top-end charge of a centrifugal is because it moves a fixed amount of air per...

    Strap Down Locations for Towing

So do the J-hooks. Yes Jack, there are both J-hooks and R-hooks (and T-hooks for that matter but no one has weighed in on them). :)

    Strap Down Locations for Towing

There are oval shaped holes in the side of the frame rails (2 front, 2 rear) so you can use tow straps with a J-hook. Reach under the car and run your hand along the side of the frame rail and you'll find them.

    fuel injector upgrade

But you have to go to a return type system to use a FMU don't you? And if you're going to do that you might as well upgrade the whole system.

    Wideband gauges install dash pics

Every A-pillar pod I've seen on a Viper looked like crap. Here's hoping this one breaks the trend; if it does I'll buy one too. Nadine, your setup looks great!
