I have a BendPak HD9. Shipping was free, and I was fortunate to have it delivered to a friend's shop where they have a rollback and forklift.
Once home, some car club friends came over and the heavy stuff was done in a couple hours. We used an engine hoise to help. Then, the rest I did myself...
The real secret for me in dealing with jam nuts like that is to put the wrenches on so that you can squeeze the two wrenches together. I'm not sure how to better describe this...but with both wrenches slightly apart...being able to squeeze them towards each other gives very nice leverage.
I used to have a 96 GTS, and I asked about the Pace Car stickers way back then. I bought a couple sets just to put them away. (sold them years ago)
Anyhow, my understanding at the time was that there were no pace car replicas. You could have put the stickers on, but there were no factory...
I'm no tire expert, but my understanding was that tread wear numbers were merely estimates as each tire company determines their figures. Not all companies use the same criteria...nor do they have to.
I was under the impression that a given tire is "operated" in a simulated environment for a...
Dom...we don't necessarily disagree. Supply and demand is indeed what drives prices.
Perhaps you missed the point that ""when I'm dead" simply implies that we won't see Vipers in "huge money" territory in the next 40 years. Unlike musclecars and their meteoric rise in prices. When I say "huge...
Most modern cars will never be worth "crazy" money. The reason the older cars, like musclecars went up...was because...shock of shocks....they were used as....cars! Imagine that. Ridden hard and put away wet. So many got used up and scrapped that what was left gained value. Supply and demand...
Moparboy...you could be right but my memory (not what it once was) tells me that the lug nuts on these wheels did not stay tight. Once loose, the wheels cracked.
The purple ragtop 'cuda (made out of a Chally), and the Sox & Martin replicas were third party conversions. The purple 'cuda was photographed at Carlisle...I think...in 2008. I seem to remember it being there the year my Plymouth was in the SME.
My Mom got a 1969 Barracuda notchback when new. It was later my first car. My Dad worked for Channel 17 then and one of his accounts was the Chrysler Plymouth group. They tried to push my Mom into ordering a Mod Top and she just hated it. Now...they're collectible. She got a gold car with black...
Okay...not to hijack the thread....but after seeing Jon B's post...I have to ask about the Gen 1 1996 RT gaskets.
I have a 96 RT in which they were replaced before I got the car. Weren't 1996 RTs also equipped with the "bad" gaskets?
Mopar Steve.... I figured that might be the car my friend Steve and I saw at Reedman when he bought the red one. It just seemed to be too much of a coincidence.
At the time, the red 03 was in the Dodge showroom, while the silver one was in a showroom at the other side of the dealership. My...
Congrats!
I too am partial to silver on those,
A friend of mine recently bought a 2003 with 1800 miles, and the dealer also had a silver version. Do you mind telling where it came from?
Tom, I should have figured that the gauges would have been plug and play. When I was looking for a Gen 1, I thought it would have been cool to not have the belts in the doors.
Yeah, Gen 1s for Canada have the seatbelts from the inside, like the later cars do. In fact, some other telltale signs are the metric speedo and warning stickers in english and french.
Nice job Bill! Can I have an "Amen"?
I am so tired of reading smack about the "creampuff" 2000 and later Gen IIs. (I seem to also remember that when the 2000s first hit that Viper Days penalized them.)
You even see this nonsense in Viper for sale listings.
Perhaps more than you'd want to do.....
When I had my 03 Cobra as a daily car, I had a similar problem. I got an auto dimming rear view mirror from (I think) Gentex. You can get them to just auto dim, or with back up camera monitors, map lights, compass, etc.
I saw that too. Two things that got me....
1. The logos on the hood....do they look like they're in the right place or too far done. (Possible hood re-paint?)
2. Dash repaint.
I have a 96 RT and I think the A?C is a huge help in hot weather even with the top and windows at home. When you turn the A/C off it feels like you turned the heat on!
Anyhow, I don't think the OP is really that narrow of a search. If memory serves, the 94s were the highest...or one of the...
It's loaded with silicones, so it hides minor scratches and makes a shine. It also offers no protection of any kind. If memory serves Pledge contains isobutane, propane, silicones and others.
For vinyls and rubbers...silicones are bad. A quick check at the 303 website covers this in detail.
