Hm, it looks awefully close if you can hammer the studs out to put new ones in...
I did a quick search but didn't really see anything so sorry if there's already a past thread about this.
On 3.55 gears on a gen 3. I believe from what I understand you can use the 2013's stock 3.55 gear set?
What else is needed to get it installed?
If I pulled my differential...
When I bought my car it came like that. They cut into the factory amp wiring, put in RCA line converters and put an amp back there. Power wire was simple as the battery is right by the trunk. Then under the passenger seat they mounted the cross overs for the front speakers there.
You went .1 faster in the 60 so you went .2 faster in the 1/4 :) Good times. Glad the suggestion for 2nd gear burnout helped out some. Now it's my turn to take my Paxton 03 to the track to see what it will do.
Was this the car that went 11.0 last time?
What did you do different? 2nd gear burn out? Did it help with 60 foot times?
NT05R DR correct?
EDIT: I watched the video and it does look like 2nd gear burnout. Nice run!
Steve did call me today as promised and that was all I really needed to gain the confidence. I guess he is expecting a shipment of parts soon and I decided to hold out on his coilovers.
I do appreciate being kept in the loop and that was all I really wanted. At least some communication on...
I don't think you get the pectel for 25k. I think for 25k you get the fmu engine management. At least that's what I understood when I clicked the link
Edit. I read wrong. Maybe it does come with it. I saw fuel pressure regulator and thought fmu. My bad.
Did you inquire if the gforce transmission is a dog box or a synchronized transmission ? I have driven both(not in a viper) and a dog box on the street doesn't really make driving very fun. It's like you are "crunching" every gear on the shift as the dogs catch..... Downshifting is pretty...
Welp, I got a phone call from Steve. And he doesn't have the coilovers ready to ship out do to his shock manufacturer not supplying him the part. He said he will try to call the shock company tomorrow in the morning and will update me on what's up.
I honestly want him to succeed. I wanted...
I have owned 3 vipers. "tried" the gen 1 out when I was 26. Bought a gen 3 when I was 28 and now at 30 I have a gen 3 with a Paxton.
I do look silly young but never had anyone ask me if it was daddy's car. I could care less what other people try to think. I know I worked hard to buy my...
Yes, I know. I actually talked to Mark and the guy responded REALLY fast and was very helpful. I just bought my viper and stupidly tried to go the cheaper route.
Kicking myself in the ass right now for not ponying up the $ and getting the MCS or the KWs from the get go.
I was looking for coilovers for my gen 3.
Had the option to get the MCS
brand new KW V2
or the vipair coilovers.
I stupidly tried to go the cheaper route and ordered the vipair coilovers due to price.
Talked to Steve and he assured me they would be ready and shipped in 2 weeks...
When racing other cars. We had oil pump failures like the OP also. I believe prodrive made some replacement gears that people used but they still broke them.
Not the exact website, just a quick search

I think I remember you bought an upgraded gear unit for it. Nice details in the write up and great pictures.
I assume you caught it all before any real damage was done?
I was in vegas a couple years ago and my wife and I were walking up and down the strip.
We walked past a place that rented exotics and the guy out front sees me slowing down to eyeball the yellow 03 vert they had out front. He looks at my wife and says "I bet you guys never drove a car like...
Why not? A Gen 3 dynos stock about 450 wheel hp (at least both of mine did). A gen 4 I've seen them dyno 550 and with bolt ons over 600s. (granted it gets expensive to go beyond headers/exhaust/mopar ecu) the transmission is better, the engine makes more power NA. Adds a little displacement...
