All my friends laughed at me because I wanted a vert. Owned 2 gen 3s and had a RT/10.
I'd say I enjoy the vert experience more. There are days where I am lazy and don't want to put the top down, but it's NICE knowing that you can. There are just TOO many gorgeous days to not drop the top...
My ankle got sore because of the seating position. Other than that if it had cruise control I would have been fine. Flew into Houston and drove it straight back to KS. I think it was about 700 miles or so.
Mine had a blower and the mopar 3" catless exhaust. It was a little loud at times...

No. My 3 year old loves to ride around and I enjoy hanging out with him. With the baby seat there, his feet are pretty much right near the vent. Guess he kicked it and broke the vent.
Oh well. 17 dollar part seems cheap enough :)
That's sweet. The ZR1 sounded like it was struggling to find the right rpm to launch and work the clutch. Good job kicking the chevy's butt with probably over 100 less whp. The driver clearly won those races.
BTW. Did you ever dyno your setup? Sorry if I missed it.
I started looking for throttle bodies and most are the BBK dual butterfly ones. Who makes/sells that single unit?
I'd assume it should pick some power up on a Paxton car also.
So what is breaking and what should be examined? Is it the control arms or the knuckle? If inspecting... What should you look for. I assume it will be hard to see stress fractures on alum control arms.
Dang. If I knew everyone had extra 10 spokes I would have gone with the 19" dr setup instead of the 20" ones. Allan how much are you looking to sell yours for?
How wide of a wheel? Mine are not stretched much at all. You can see it in the downward angle picture. In my rush to Mount the tires I didn't measure how wide the wheel was though.
I am sure the nt05r had a wider contact patch than the invo
The front tires are in very good condition so I think I will do something else before I replace those. If I had stock wheels then they make a stock replacement 19" DR size.
Yea, but the tire height went from a 27.2" stock to 28.7" So well over an inch and a half in tire height. I'll need to...
I put it on my dynojet (I am not kidding, my dynojet reads low) and it was 636 and 572 on SAE. I let it sit for about 15 minutes with the fan blowing on the engine after driving it, so it could have been a little heat soaked. Probably letting it cool down would allow it to put down a little...
03 vert with Paxton and mopar 3" race catless exhaust. Stock suspension.
Car is dirty. I was in a huge rush so I mounted the wheel and didn't clean the wheel up yet. Scratches on the surface was there from the previous owner.
19/20" I-forge wheel setup. The 345 25 20 Pirelli were...
I wouldn't chance it. Cats are both before the cross over. Sometimes the clog gets worse as it gets hot. A tow might be cheaper in the long run vs driving and damaging something.
