I couldn't get it to work, but I might not be using the right scan tool either... I borrowed a Snap On D8 (I think that's the model anyway) from a guy at work but couldn't get it to...

My old E55 had a PPF film on it that I didn't like. When I removed the film I had the same exact tiny cracks that the OP had... all over them. You couldn't notice it with the film on there. When I took the other side off I paid close attention to it and it was exactly the same... looked great...
Is there anything special I should do here to re-glue it back to the convertible top? I was going to just clean up the area and use either that 3m windshield adhesive or just some black polyurethane of some sort.
