    SRT10 Coupe and ACR

I've run both Cups and PS2's on my ACR. On the street the PS2 is no doubt a relatively softer ride. My wife prefers it over the cups when she drives. To answer the original question, I have driven 3500 miles in my ACR and have about 400 in an 08 coupe. The ACR is not so much more 'rough'...

    Sunday morning ride

Mine drives as much as I do. She even got bit by the track bug this spring. We are both drivers and she trusts me but is only as good a passenger as I am.:D

Tomball Dodge -Tech Lunch & Learn 6/12

We left for vacation immediately after and just got back yesterday. Nice to meet some new faces. Bernie and crew were gracious hosts and the PS2 and garmin drawings were a nice touch. I have some great shots of 3 cars side by side on lifts but need to blur the plates. Thank you for hosting...

Might trade 09 Vette on 97 GTS. Opinion...

For a '97 there are a lot of things to consider. (Motor mounts okay? How's the power steering pulley? Quite a few other issues you probably have searched on already). I love mine and enjoyed it even before I put the blower on it. Add me to the change the gold rims but keep them in the...

    New Polisher

Very Nice. Awesome pair. Were there many places you had to hand detail the ACR? I found I spent as much time with my hands as with my polisher when I did mine. I like the black six spokes and they look great on your car, I'm running the same wheel with PS2s on the street. I agree...

    Seat Lowering Kit

Is a lot of your height legs or long torso with shorter legs? I'm more legs and my wife is more torso (She's 5'11", I'm 6'2") and the 1 inch kit was plenty for both my Gen 2 and Gen 4 even with upright driving position and helmets on for the track. Good luck.:2tu:

    torque specs on lug nuts

90 lb/ft for torque. I use a 19mm with a plastic sleeve for the lugs.

    2nd Gen. Supercharged Q's

There's a round allen wrenched plug at the front of the blower housing. I believe it's closer to the passenger side on the top of the housing. You'll need to create a dip stick if the owner doesn't have one. A search should pull up how to make one. I have one at home and can check it...

    2nd Gen. Supercharged Q's

I have a Roe supercharged 97. There are many members that have more knowledge than I do pertaining to this topic. Sean sends out 3 base tune cards to run the VEC (Viper Engine Contoller) which is a piggyback for the stock ECM unit to modify injectors and timing. Some questions to ask: Who...

Opinions on Different Areas of Houston

In the meantime NARRA is practically pleading members to come out and hit the track and Houston had a large group this weekend, much larger than Austin. We schedule at least one activity a month but it seems to be the usual suspects when the date arrives. Then after the fact there is a lot...

    no tow rig?

First, drive to the track and back for your first weekend. You'll be fine. I wouldn't recommend the expense of a trailer until you know you will do it a lot and want to get more specific/hardcore with your setup. I can pack almost everything I'd need for a typical track weekend in the back...

    no tow rig?

I love mid-Ohio. I ran that track in a 3000GT VR-4 I modded back when I was in Columbus for graduate school. Oh the days of eating PB and J's to save money for tires and brake fluid! Sure miss the large course with chicane they ran in the spring when I was at OSU. How often do you run in...

    no tow rig?

Texas World Speedway is 69 miles from home. MSR-Houston is 73. MSR takes 1.5 hours due to being on the other side of Houston. I borrowed a friend's trailer to run Harris Hill about 2 hours from here and felt much better having the trailer in case I had issues while at the track. I have...
