I expect delivery on one of these in the next few weeks. I have done nine track events the last few years driving to the track and back. (I have Texas World and MSR-Houston both within a few hours). I didn't have any problems but also had to cut a few days short due to tire wear and knowing I...
Twelve Vipers have RSVP'd for Houston Cars and Coffee. We're meeting at 7:30 for those that want to join us. There has been a ton :omg: of cars the last few months of all makes and models.
We'll be doing a short cruise around 10:30 and then going out for lunch.
Hope you can join us. :2tu:
Been out with both at the same time. My wife drives the other one and we trade off. It seems to completely depend on the day which one gets more attention. We factored in the drivers as well. It seems wife in ACR gets the most attention of all other variables.
Great Event! We had a blast.
Thanks to ART for getting my brakes squared away.
Thanks to Ryan and everyone else that helped put this together. It was a top notch event. Anyone in Texas that missed this.... you aren't going to get a better Viper event.
It was nice to run Harris Hill...
You know one!!! I'm always looking for a decent one myself.:)
Oh the pain!!!I'm leaking brake fluid from the ACR (long story short, if you don't have time to install your own SS lines, make time. Most shops just don't get it done the way you can yourself).
I hope ART can bail me...
We'll both be there. Probably will have a large Houston group. Texas is ate up with the Round Up starting tomorrow right now. Chatter over Viper Days shouldn't be far behind.
It starts with the grin from driving your first one. Then it lays dormant in your nervous system until the funds happen to be laying around. Be careful, a supportive spouse will cause this condition to run rampant through your system. There are multiple subtypes of MVS as classified by the...
So do I. I even bought them from the same place. They are comfortable enough I often prefer them to other shoes.
I drive on the street with them and for most HPD events. They provide good pedal feedback. If I'm really trying to hotshoe I switch to my driving boots but haven't noticed a...
I wonder if Chevy engineers are checking in on their avid owners' forus and actually answering questions?:dunno:
SRT rocks!!! :headbang:
I have the Mopar ECU on my ACR and prefer it. I guess I'm in the minority.
I start looking for your USAA posts anytime an insurance thread gets started. I have everything but my snakes insured with them due to your experience.
Hey E,
Shoot me an email if you can. I got Jamie to send out an email to the group. I'm building a contact list. Looks like 3 cars so far. Where do you want to meet up?
My panels are great but I have paint issues as well. My 97 had better paint when I bought it used with 11K miles on it and 8 years old.
I am torn on this one. It's an awesome car but damn if it isn't the most I ever spent on a car and the worst factory paint job I've ever seen. Having said...
First time with Driver's Edge for me. I had heard several things about the group that seemed accurate from the weekend's experience including lots of traffic. I don't mind traffic if the drivers are polite.
I like TWS a lot. Much different than Mid-Ohio, the only track I've had more...
You were able to get this type to seal?
I got the Motive and couldn't get a good seal with it on my '97. Finally bled the old fashion way with the wife pushing the pedal.
