    Buying K&N Filtercharger+smooth tubes

I think that it's a generally accepted fact that the K&Ns and smooth tubes give you 10 to 12 RWHP.. probably the most bang for your buck.

    Question on tires

You might check with John Purner at Complete Custom wheel. When I talked with him at VOI he had some still new MMXs.

    Wheel Centers

Even though it's shameless I have to give George at MGW a plug. I bought a set of wheels from John Purner at VOI and made my own centers for them. I managed to talk George into puting the Viper logo on the centers and they, as one former DC spokesman said "LOOK MARVELOUS" George's quality...

    New Viper Owner

As I told the guy with the Supra that wanted to race. I don't have anything to prove. We both know that at 150 or 160 (what ever speed wind removes the hood from your ricer) if I'm not ahead of you at that poing I'll pass you then. I can't believe you guys have given this post as much play as...

Can I crome my 97 wheels and caps?

Rob I think you are going to find that your center caps are plastic so I'm not sure what to do about plating them.

Oreca #91 Viper at W.P. Chrysler museum

I was fortunate enough to get a close look at OL 91 at VOI. It looked like it had been parked behind a sandblaster, what a warrior. It was really something to see but so was the rest of VOI for that matter. DC put on the show of the year and I can't wait until the big bash in 2002. Charlie

What is the diameter for Viper wheel studs? >>

It's unusual in this day and age to find a new car with something other than metric fasteners but the Viper seems to be the exception. The stud size is 1/2-20. The last vehicle I had that used that size was a FWD chevy blazer. I would imagine someone subed a few 12mmX1.5 since they "look" to be...

    Anyone know wheel lug pattern/size?

While we are on the subject keep in mind that after you have torqued your lugs a half dozen times they are pretty well used up. The threads in the lug is designed to stretch every time it is torqued so your lug nuts have a limited "life" .. Also FYI the lugs are 1/2" 20 thread. Just my .02 again...

Shameless Promotion of NC's Favorite Viper Tech (Pix large - sorry)

Re: Shameless Promotion of NC\'s Favorite Viper Tech (Pix large - sorry) Shameless YES but I enjoyed it. Too many horror stories out there and it's really nice to see the opposite. Charlie Adderwear Products

    Indianapolis Owners

I have purchased 2 Vipers from Fletcher Chrysler in Franklin IN and couldn't be happier with the service I have gotten. The sales staff as well as the tech treat me like I own the place every time I walk in. I don't know how anyone else is treated there but I have nothing but good things to say...

Finally got my wheels and tires mounted

I bought a set of wheels and tires from John Purner at VOI. His street performance package and I couldn't be happier. MMX3 tires with same size rears and 11" wide front rims with 315 tires.. The car handles better and look awesome.. If any of you are interested in wheels and tires contact John...

Best two way radio for the $$$

I have a SLK 289 and the Motorola FR-60.. I don't think the FR-60 is VOX capable but other than that the both work well. I found the SLK 289 on sale for $79 and the FR-60s generally go for $100 a pair.. They work great for us on our runs. Charlie Adderwear products
