Viper vs Toy Car
I would say no, since ground speed is different than air speed. unless you could get wind over the wings at the proper speed, you couldn't generate any lift.- Phun70

Yes, I understand that, however he wasn't specific about year. I also carry a tire seal kit, and a small compressor, also a nice set of tools in the trunk of my vipers.- Phun70

Had a little OOPS at the autocross track last night. Caught on video.
With good tires it probably wouldn't have happened, **** can the runcraps!! You were definitely going over 45. When in doubt, let the engine do the braking, it's less likely to allow the ass end try to swap places with the front end.- Phun70

Need some advice
Do a parasitic draw test. Hook up a DVOM in line with the negative battery cable. Disconnect the negative cable and put the meter in between it and the battery. The reading on the DVOM is the live draw reading, close the doors, pull the key and wait at bit for the computers to go to "sleep"...- Phun70

Sorry, I'd have to disagree that copper gaskets will! cause corrosion. The galvanic response previously mentioned is real and can actually be measured with a DVOM and is caused by dissimilar metals interacting with each other and the coolant acting like electrolyte, essentially you've built a...- Phun70

Reliability on Gen 3
I think you would be surprised how reliable these cars are. I would say more reliable than a Honda, and I own and operate an auto repair shop. You couldn't give me a Honda. My 2c.- Phun70

Talk me down off the ledge
The steering wheel is centered, it's just the pedals that are slightly offset. Pedal offset was probably the most pronounced in the earlier cars, and after you get in and start to drive, you don't even notice it. If people are complaining about heat, just use exhaust wrap and or get high flow...- Phun70
