    Grab the piston from the side with a pair of channel lock pliers, being very careful to avoid damaging the rubber dust boot. Turn clockwise. The piston will walk it's way into the caliper without too much muss or fuss if you push gently in with the pliers whilst turning the piston. I did it...

    Oil Gauge Problems

    It may be the sending unit, but It also may be the wires. Check to make sure the wiring isn't damaged, because if it is, this will also peg the gauge.
